Kapitel 324: Chapter 324 : Unknown Woman 3

Tina was determined as she marched Newt into the Auror office. She had suspected from the start that he was smuggling magical creatures into America, which was strictly against the law. Newt, still clutching his suitcase, looked nervous but said nothing as Tina presented him to Percival Graves, though he wasn't Percival Graves for a long time.

"He's been smuggling magical beasts into America," Tina declared, standing tall in front of Graves and the other Aurors. "I caught him in the act."

"And I told you that this all is a misunderstanding…" Newt said, he wasn't lying he really wasn't smuggling no magical beasts.

Graves raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Let's take a look then?" he said, signaling for one of the Aurors to check Newt's briefcase.

Newt stood there, tense, knowing that his case contained not just magical creatures but an entire world. He had no idea what would happen once they opened it. He watched helplessly as the Auror flicked the latches and opened the suitcase.

But instead of magical creatures bursting out, as Newt had expected, everyone stared in shock at the contents. The case was filled to the brim with neatly arranged cakes, sweets, and pastries. There were no creatures, no strange magical objects—just baked goods.

Graves frowned, confused. Tina blinked in surprise. "What...?" she stammered, glancing from the suitcase to Newt. She had been so sure that he was guilty.

Newt was the most surprised of all. His jaw dropped, and he immediately realized the problem. "This... this isn't my suitcase," he muttered, his voice filled with disbelief and a hint of panic but still he remained quite, in this situation this was still advantageous for him. Thank goodness that others didn't hear him just now.

Tina was utterly bewildered. "But... I saw you..."

"I told you!" Newt exclaimed, shrugging his shoulders. He had no idea how his suitcase had been switched, but he knew he had to get it back.

Graves, still suspicious but seeing no evidence of wrongdoing, sighed. "Let him go," he said, though his tone was still cold. "It's just cakes."

Newt was allowed to leave, but now he was in deep trouble—his case, the one with all his magical creatures, was still out there, somewhere in New York.

Jacob trudged back home after his disappointing day, still upset that he hadn't gotten the loan he needed for his bakery. He sighed heavily as he sat down in his small apartment, placing the briefcase on the table. He thought about the baked goods he'd packed inside earlier—cakes, biscuits, things he had planned to show at the bank.

"At least I can have a little snack to cheer myself up," he muttered to himself, reaching for the briefcase. He unlatched it and opened the case, but instead of seeing rows of sweet treats, his jaw dropped. Inside the briefcase was not food, but an endless, dark space, like a vast expanse of night sky. Jacob blinked and rubbed his eyes, thinking he must have been seeing things.

"What the heck...?" he whispered, leaning closer. He couldn't see the bottom of the case, just darkness that seemed to stretch on forever. Curiosity got the better of him, and he hesitantly reached his hand inside, hoping to feel something. But his hand just kept going deeper and deeper into the case without hitting anything.

Suddenly, he lost his balance. "Whoa!" Jacob yelped as he toppled forward, falling right into the briefcase. He tumbled through the darkness, and for a moment, he thought he might be falling forever. But then, with a thud, he hit solid ground.

Groaning, he sat up and looked around. He wasn't in his apartment anymore. In front of him stood a grand manor, its high arches and magical aura completely unlike anything he had ever seen. The place was beautiful, with walls made of shining stone and windows that reflected a warm golden light.

"Hello?!" Jacob called out, his voice echoing through the empty hallways. There was no response.

As he explored, he saw strange and wonderful things. Pictures moved on the walls, the people inside them waving or walking from one frame to another. Brooms floated in the air, sweeping the floors all by themselves. Books were flying around, seemingly alive, arranging themselves on shelves. The entire place seemed to be alive with magic.

Jacob scratched his head, both amazed and confused. "What is this place?" he muttered to himself, continuing to wander through the manor. Despite how incredible it all was, one thing quickly became clear: he had no idea how to get out of here.

He tried opening doors, peeking behind curtains, and even yelling for help again. But no matter where he went, he found no exit and no people..

"Can you please put the wand down, I don't wanna fight. I am just here for the briefcase." Orion said with sighing. God only knows what this woman was hiding in there.

"Who are you, who send you." The now named Elenora asked with pointing her wand at Orion. Even the woman with her little magic knew that she was no match to the person in front of him. But still, she stood in front of Orion while defending the briefcase in her hands.

"Ah, well lets start with that, just as I said John Wick and no, no one send me its just that the briefcase in your hand belongs to my friend." Orion said, though the woman didn't believe him.

"I don't believe you." Replied Elenora.

"Then just look inside, if you will know." Orion sigh, this was getting more tiresome than he anticipated it to be.

"I don't have to." Elenora reply firmly.

'What with this woman, I am trying to solve problem by diplomatic means and she doesn't even wants to talk…'

"Come on, you are now just trying to be difficult. Just check out the briefcase and you will know that its not yours." Orion said with a troubled face.

Elenora hearing this frown, she didn't wanted to let her guard down even for a second, she already knew that the person in front of her was strong, knowing Law itself was enough to put her to the absolutely alert state.

"Sigh…fine, here this is my address, when you find something wrong with that briefcase come and talk with me." Orion roll his eyes, not having enough patience to shout at this woman anymore he for the time being just decided to let her go and turn to the Vamires he capture.

Torturing them and extracting info from them until this woman realized what was going on would be good past time.

Elenora seeing the man tossing a card towards her which magically kept on floating in front of her was taken a back.

She didn't even believed that he will let her go… her heart pounded but she still took the card and rush out of there.

Right now she just wanted to get out of here.
