"These potion ingredients of yours..."
Snape recalled his original purpose, his expression darkening.
"That's not important, Professor. Look at our discovery! This is undoubtedly one of the greatest inventions in the history of potions this century."
Kael, brimming with excitement, divided the potion from the cauldron into small bottles.
"According to my calculations, drinking one bottle should maintain its effect for at least a week."
"In other words, within that week, as long as the potion's power isn't depleted, it will heal your injuries whenever you get hurt."
"This solves the problem of not having time to take a potion or its effects being too slow."
"It will greatly increase the survival rate of wizards."
"Most importantly, with this idea, we could create potions with different effects."
"Of course, Professor, I also need to apologize. I had no choice but to take a little bit of potion ingredients from your office earlier..."
Snape was immediately captivated by Kael's description of the potion's effects.
If this were true…
It would indeed be the greatest potion invention of this century—perhaps even without equal!
It had unlimited potential to completely revolutionize the current potion-making system.
And most importantly...
Kael had said "we"?
"I didn't help you with anything, Mr. Kael," Snape replied in his usual proud manner.
"No, you're mistaken! I am, after all, the disciple of the greatest Potions Master of this century!"
"It was thanks to your guidance that I was able to brew such an excellent potion!"
Kael seized the opportunity without hesitation.
After all, the magical world had a far more rigid social structure than in his previous life.
It was the same across all industries.
The major pure-blood families monopolized most of the resources in the British magical world, including the Ministry of Magic!
For half-blood or Muggle-born wizards, the prospects after graduation were pitiful or disgracefully bad; even becoming a low-ranking employee at the Ministry was nearly impossible.
Yet, even the Weasleys, often ridiculed as the "shame of pure-bloods," still had a position left open for Ron's father, despite any suppression from other pure-blood families.
Even Voldemort, who was born a half-blood, had to propose the slogan "pure-blood supremacy" to win over the pure-blood families.
The same applied to all kinds of magic.
At Hogwarts, students could only learn everyday magic, perhaps with the addition of "Expelliarmus" and "Protego."
Kael felt this acutely while mingling in Knockturn Alley.
One could hardly imagine the crazed desire of rogue dark wizards for advanced dark magic.
Currently, what Kael lacked most was an entryway into the upper echelons of the magical world.
Money, he did not lack!
But many resources were impossible to buy, no matter how much money one had.
…
"I will take these potions back for further testing, and then..."
"If they truly have the effects you claim, and if the Ministry of Magic awards you anything less than a second-class Order of Merlin, I guarantee they'll regret it."
"As for you taking my potion ingredients—don't let it happen again!"
Sure enough, upon hearing this, Snape put away five of the eight bottles of potion on the desk.
He didn't mention anything more about the "stolen ingredients."
After all, it was just some potion ingredients.
His entire storage of potion materials was worth at least 30,000 Galleons.
What was the little bit Kael had taken?
"This lesson is over. Go back and organize your notes. Each of you must write a two-foot-long essay and submit it to me next week!"
Back at the lectern, the old bat didn't even feel like continuing the class.
He left the room after a few words.
…
Snape hurried back to his office next to the classroom, eagerly grabbing one of the potion bottles.
He was just about to test its effects when he caught sight of several open storage cabinets…
Empty…
No!
Not entirely empty, to be accurate.
At least a few bezoars, which could be bought for a Galleon apiece, were still there…
Snape recalled what Kael had said earlier and nearly spat out a mouthful of blood on the spot.
"A tiny bit????"
You call this a tiny bit?
That "tiny bit" is worth at least 30,000 Galleons!
And the most baffling part was…
Snape couldn't understand why he had just said, "This time, I'll let it go, but don't do it again."
[Ding! Detected frustration!]

[Ding! Congratulations, the host has received a diamond chest!]
