Everything seemed perfect, but one thing was missing. Ren wanted his chopsticks. He didn't dislike using a fork, but his instinct was to eat with chopsticks. Well, he shouldn't be clamoring about utensils when he was finally able to eat the food he desired after so long.

He glanced at Terim, who was enthusiastically slurping his noodles. Ren decided to focus on the positive sides. The flavors were perfect, the company was enjoyable, and for the first time in a while, he felt a sense of normalcy. Ren sighed and continued to eat.

Terim didn't care about Ren's tangled expressions. At the moment, he was too busy gulping down his own food. If he had a moment to spare, he might have been embarrassed by the speed at which he was eating.
