Kapitel 54: Deal with it

"Why did you come here previously? You can't leave without saying why you came." Elias muttered trying to sound not guilty as possible, he was sure he would earn himself a slap if he made her annoyed any longer. Not that he was scared of being slapped by her, he would willingly accept it if he got slapped by her.

"I have nothing to say, I just came here at the spur of the moment. I will take my leave now." Abigail remarked stopping her steps before she continued to walk towards the door once again.

Elias stood up on his feet and hurriedly made his way towards Abigail, he held her hand to stop her from going away then he made him turn around to pin her between the door and him. "You can't leave without saying why you came in the first place, tell me why did you come to the company?" Elias asked not letting her go, although he seemed nonchalant his heart was thumping very fast inside his chest.
