Kapitel 164: The Path Ahead

At least from the penthouse, which stood in its own world above the city, Sophia couldn't tell that the trees had finally all shed their leaves and winter was impending.

Unfortunately, it was impossible to completely avoid the world below as she cleaned up the broken pieces of her life and tried to move on healthily.

She had been going through a mourning process. Feelings she had accepted at multiple points in her life were familiar to her but it didn't make it easier to get through it. The only thing that brought her out of her shell was Ethan and Luca's constant pestering.

While Luca wanted her to stay pampered within his home, Ethan was the one who brought her out.

It was on these outings that she saw the trees had lost all their leaves and the city was preparing for the holidays.
