Kapitel 270: Ruined Friendship

There were no excuses.

Before Ethan fell into his heat, he had a choice. 

From Rachel's perspective, it wasn't as if she was completely out of her mind just because she was in pain. She was the one who started it all by opening the door. She could have said no but she didn't.

They had all sorts of reasons why they shouldn't have been there yet they still woke up in the same bed without any clothing covering their bodies. 

The last couple of weeks ignoring one another started making more sense. Pheromones dictated everything in the life of unmated or unsuppressed omegas and alphas. 

"Now I understand why you weren't talking to me," Ethan said. 

Except the thought didn't make him want to stick around for much longer.
