Upon achieving this promotion, Bai Heng arrived at Pier Point. As advertised by the company, it was indeed a place where one could realize their self-worth. Everyone living there was an elite from the Interstellar Peace Company, enjoying universal honor, power, and wealth, and pursuing material desires under the protection of the great Amber King and the universe's largest economy. The elites frequented luxurious places like palace-like administrative lounges, top-notch SPAs, team bars for thousands, and lava hot springs.
However, this prosperity was merely superficial. There remained a significant class gap in Pier Point. Instead, Topa, who had worked with Bai Heng before, occasionally visited him at his assigned private villa, bringing good wine.

His department remained the Interstellar Astronomical Association, and his task was to gather information about the "Fertility" Apothecary and the "Hunting" Emperor's Bow. The documents from the Association particularly pointed to intelligence about the Apothecary King's secret transmissions as a potential lead.
Additionally, the company prepared to send a team to assist Bai Heng, but he declined the offer, preferring to handle the task discreetly. Thus, he only brought along Little Four, who was responsible for piloting the starship.
Traveling from Pier Point to the nearest spaceport of the Xianzhou Alliance took Little Four less than two days, despite Bai Heng almost losing his lunch along the way. Upon arrival, Bai Heng took a commercial starship to Xianzhou's one of six starships, the Xianzhou Luofu, under the guise of a traveling outsider. He left Little Four at the spaceport to refuel and maintain the starship.
On the starship, Bai Heng noticed many local Xianzhou residents buying a beverage called Xianren Happy Tea from vendors and posting photos with captions about autumn's first cup of Happy Tea to their "Interstellar Sensory" social network. This scene gave him an odd feeling of not having traveled through time. In fact, Xianzhou resembled his known homeland more than any other place, making him feel nostalgic as he observed the diverse Xianzhou people. He bought a cup of Xianren Happy Tea made from milk, sugar, and tea, took a photo, and sent a message to Ruan Mei: "On a business trip in Xianzhou, hope you get a chance to try this."
A few seconds later, Ruan Mei replied with a photo of a misty bath with floating flowers and plants, warm as spring. "Noted. I'm preparing for a bath, will chat later."

"No way," he thought. With a quick motion, his company-issued small-caliber short sword micro railgun appeared in his hand. However, when he exited the cabin, he found the scene completely different from what he had imagined. Instead of pirates or cosmic terror forces hijacking the starship, he saw a group of Cloud Knights in Xianzhou armor with standard long swords facing him. Many passengers were crouching on the ground with their heads covered. As Bai Heng became one of these passengers, he realized the starship was actually a black ship smuggling forbidden drugs, and tourists like him were merely used to camouflage their operation.

After the Cloud Knight officer registered Bai Heng's information, he was placed in a designated guest room for further investigation. Bai Heng found the Cloud Knights' approach fair—they had confined passengers in the guest room instead of directly imprisoning them before confirming their guilt.
With his belongings temporarily under Cloud Knight supervision, Bai Heng could only sit cross-legged at the tea table in his guest room, drinking tea after tea. In the midst of this, he recalled that it had been about a month since his last simulation. He lifted his finger to bring up the simulation system interface.
