One year has passed since the second Honkai war.
The war may be over, but the scars left behind will never disappear.
Siberia, by this time had become a forbidden land for all life. Aside from the Honkai beasts that roam here, perhaps the only people who will be living here are the survivors who managed to live because of their luck, and some mysterious organization that tries to control forces beyond their limits.
Standing in front of the tombstone embedded in the ground covered by white snow. The white-haired woman who had just been born, just stared ahead blankly.
A headstone with just a name.
"{{Alexandra Pavlovna Zaychik}}"
"It's been three hours, maybe you should say something."
Gray Serpent, appeared behind the woman, and he complained while holding his distinctive little black parasol.
"Don't blame me, living people are easy to track down because they will leave traces wherever they go. But if they are dead, then the tombstone will just remain there."
"...."
"....I know what you want to ask. How is her daughter's condition? She is alive."
".... She live?"
"You finally opened your mouth old friend. Apparently, you don't trust me enough. Or do you like me from the previous number?"
"...."
Chatting briefly like an old friend who has not seen for a long time. The Gray Serpent's body gradually corroded, and its body movements began to become stiff.
However, standing next to a woman who continues to radiate immense honkai energy, can literally kill you if you stay around her long enough.
The Gray Serpent, who had seen the limits of his prosthetic immune system, finally went straight to the point.
"I know you really want to die. As a life form born from the crystallization of stigmata, I can give you a piece of advice."
Misteln Schariac, finally looked to the side.
As a idea born from the crystallization of the stigmata when Cecilia died in the second honkai war. To die, for her is the most difficult thing.
Because she is a stigmata.
Of course the way of death cannot be limited by the human logic they make.
She's too unique.
Hearing that the Gray Serpent had a way to kill her, Misteln Schariac, admitted that she was very interested in his suggestion.
"...By doing [self-transcription]...She will gain the same body and have abilities similar to yours."
"But in the final analysis, it's not the same will anymore. The curse that's haunting you right now will naturally dissipate."
"After all, we only need you. Who you really are, we don't really care."
"...."
Hearing the "new method of death" that the Gray Serpent had just revealed. Misteln thought about it for a moment, and she felt that this method of death was quite feasible.
At least, in her opinion, that method could actually kill her.
The curse she was born with, the curse that made those around her die because of her existence, would finally disappear once and for all.
"Have you considered it?"
"Then welcome to the World Serpant."
Looking at the corroded hand stretched out in front of her. Misteln shook his hand, and she raised her eyebrows in surprise.
"You seem to be in a hurry. Are you investigating something?"
The Gray Serpent tilted its head.
"As expected of your [transcription]. Nothing can be hidden from you if you really want to find out."
Gray Serpent chose to be honest.
"Because this job is a little special, at first I will immediately go to the Yukon estuary in Alaska to investigate the same similar existence like you."
"But seeing the situation in Siberia, we changed our minds. There is something that interests us more here."
Misteln: "Stigmata disease?"
The Gray Serpent nodded its head.
"This needs to be confirmed first. Whether this stigmata disease has something to do with the previous era, or not."
"There is an ancient record tucked away in a corner of the database that vaguely describes the origin and first time this disease appeared in a previous era."
"The note is stored in a very hidden place among the piles of doctor Mebius documents as if deliberately to be unnoticed."
"Anyway, according to the records..."
"Our entire civilization has been wiped out because it fell into the trap of this stigmata disease."
"And this reality, and history as we know all this time..."
"Is just a fake."

Meanwhile, Schicksal's lab...
"Experimental subject K-422 entered a stable state, but monitoring of brain wave data still did not show any fluctuations in data changes at all."
"Subject, K-422, failed."
"At least, this isn't a total failure. We have at least been able to stabilize the two special DNAs from destroying each other."
"Continue to create the next clone. This time we will use the second herrscher's core as a supplementary material. It's time to see if she can revive or not."
Ordered a group of researchers to do the next test subject. Otto, who was monitoring everyone's progress, looked at the special soulium box that held the second herrscher core.
"One is considered dead after the soul has completely disappeared. But, is that really true?"
"In a materialist world where we can't even figure out what the soul really is, we can only play with what comes close to it, namely consciousness."
Otto watches as researchers insert Herrscher's core into K-423's cloned body.
"Herrscher core, as a product that came out of the logic of this world, are you really able to contain the soul of someone who has died?"
When the researchers were still recording data changes, and saw K-423 suddenly open her eyes. Otto was also surprise for a bit, before he smiled.
"Or are you just a product that can only store memories? Is this Sirin in front of me the real Sirin?"
Otto stood still in front of the giant glass tube, and he saw K-423 staring at him curiously.
At a glance, he could see purple and gold colored light flashing for a few seconds in the eyes of this little clone girl before him.
"Interesting."
Otto smiled even wider.
"I do not care who you are, whether you are Sirin, or just a chess piece arranged by fate. But one thing is certain, you will be mine to connect once again with the gods. Revealing the secret of the soul that I have been seeking."
"What is soul? Can consciousness replace Soul? Can consciousness create soul? Which is fake and which is real? You can definitely lead me to show me a path that no one has ever walked before."
"Therefore, until then…"
Otto smiled gently, and he adopted a very polite formal greeting posture.
"I will help you to become Sirin once again, and make you connected with your god once again."
"So don't let me down, messenger of god."

Author special note:
Finally the Siberian Arc ends here. The next chapter will reveal what the name K-423 will be next.
Really, I really don't know why I got here. The first time I made this novel was because I was depressed because the honkai stories had ended, and there weren't any good honkai fanfic stories out there.
Looking back at what I've done so far, it's pretty amazing.
By the way, since the Siberian Arc is over, can you guys leave review comments in the book column? I'd like to see what you guys think of this book I'm writing.
Spicy comments? as long as useful just come on!
Let's have a Lore honkai impact duel that belongs to each of us!
I very much welcome the veteran captain who loves Lore as much as I do. I hope we have a good discussion.
By the way, I'm sorry if you found the conversation between the Hare and the Gray Serpent inappropriate. however, English is not the language I play when playing this game.
Sometimes different languages always have different meanings.
