Kapitel 60: CH: 60 Meeting the Weasley Family

Parting is always bittersweet.

With the gradual success of the experiment, Lupin's life became more manageable. He even found the mood to open a bottle of red wine with Lisa under the full moon, enjoying the moment together.

Undoubtedly, the happiest among them was Anna.

As Nagini shed her viper form and reclaimed her human body, the prospect of returning to the joyous and carefree life of '52 years ago' seemed within reach. Overjoyed, she publicly kissed Anton on the cheek.

Fiennes departed early, heading to Hogwarts with the ghost band.

The goblin, Pedro, also took his leave. Exhausted from the taxing spells cast by Andre and Anton, he planned to embark on a journey, his fragile mind reeling from the ordeal. The thought of returning to study (or be studied) alongside Anton after the holiday filled him with dread.

Yet, Nagini, his daughter, and Anna, his granddaughter, anchored his wavering resolve. The continuity of life had become his beacon of hope amidst life's tumult.

Anna's family prepared to depart soon. She shyly informed Anton that she write to him once enrolled.

Andre Rosier generously bestowed ten bottles of potion and a substantial sum of Galleons to fund Anton's research endeavors.

Indeed, a veritable hill of Golden Galleons.

This windfall finally filled Anton's small vault at Gringotts, courtesy of the affluent and ancient Rosier family. Accompanied by Andre, Anton explored a shelf brimming with magical supplies in his vault, uncovering a slate titled 'Book of Bloodlines.'

Placing his palm on the slate, Anton confirmed his lineage traced back to the Weasleys. The tree-like pattern, alongside a name, revealed his supposed father as Arthur Weasley's brother. The slate also indicated his mother as the final descendant of a dwindling pure-blood family from Germany, marked as deceased.

Upon learning this, Andre sighed.

"People must always look ahead, mustn't they?" Anton commented casually.

Andre appeared taken aback, "Why are you comforting me instead?"

Finally, that evening, Lisa prepared a lavish dinner to commemorate Anton's departure for school. Observing the joy on Lisa and Mr. Lupin's faces, it was hard not to question whether the two were content to have finally achieved a sense of wholeness in their shared world.

Nevertheless, the the school term had arrived.

With a new suitcase brimming with luxury brand clothing courtesy of Lupin, the werewolf appeared entirely Muggle. Both agreed that Muggle attire exuded a greater sense of refinement compared to wizarding garments.

However, wizard robes and wand holsters, essential for wizards, could only be obtained at Diagon Alley.

Without disturbing the still-sleeping pair, Anton embarked alone to King's Cross Station with his suitcase, a mere twenty-minute journey from their residence at '11 Grimmauld Place.'

Making occasional stops, he paused at a restaurant for breakfast.

The exclamation reverberated through the surroundings, startling Anton.

A tall, red-haired man hurried towards him, his features mirroring surprise and curiosity.

"Charming and dashing Ron?" The red-haired twins pondered aloud, bewildered by the unexpected encounter.

Another tall, red-headed figure also made his way over, a mix of astonishment and uncertainty etched on his face.

The resemblance between the two was uncanny, leaving Anton momentarily flustered.

Their expressions equally perplexed.

"Are you calling for me?" Another young boy trailed behind the twins, his eyes widening as he gazed at Anton before casting a disbelieving glance at his older brothers.

Unlike Ron, whose hair was tousled and unkempt, the individual before him sported the same red hair, boasting a refined stature. Clad in upscale slacks and an oversized shirt, he sported a magical-looking watch on his wrist.

Balancing the suitcase in one hand and a coffee cup in the other, Anton greeted them with a faint smile, "Hello."

"Mum, come quick!" one of the twins exclaimed loudly, his voice tinted with urgency and shock, "Arthur has done something dreadful, it's disgraceful, he has an illegitimate child!"

Whack!

Arthur swiftly reprimanded him with a stern slap, "Quiet, Fred!"

"Oh, I'm George, Dad, you've got it wrong." One of the twins corrected him.

"And i'm Fred." The other twin clarified.

"Both of you, enough." Molly intervened, ushering the twins aside before crouching down to address Anton, "Son, what's your name?" Her tone was gentle, tinged with a sense of curiosity and concern.

Anton observed the family with keen interest. Whether from the original book, the fandom, or the movies, it was challenging not to feel a sense of familiarity with this family.

"I go by Anthony Weasley, but you can call me Anton directly." Anton stated.

"Weasley!" Molly's disbelief was palpable as she locked eyes with her husband, a mix of astonishment and confusion swirling in her gaze.

Arthur's lips quirked slightly as he approached and crouched down, his voice tinged with a mixture of astonishment and concern, "You must be my brother's child. That scoundrel let you go to school unaccompanied without seeing you off?"

"No, my father passed away, and now I live with my uncle and aunt." Anton revealed, his voice tinged with a sense of loss and acceptance.

"Dead?!" Arthur's expression darkened with nostalgia and sorrow. "He left like that? He never contacted me, just passed away like that?"

Molly gently patted his shoulder to comfort him.

Nevertheless, the recognition among relatives brought a sense of joy.

Anton's friendly demeanor swiftly drew the group together. Ginny peered curiously from behind her mother, while the twins clearly took a liking to their newfound cousin. The trio engaged in lively conversation.

Meanwhile, Ron observed the animated interactions within the family with a perplexed expression.

At that moment, he felt as though Anton was Arthur's son, the twins' younger brother, rendering him redundant.

"Living at 11 Grimmauld Place! I can't believe it, I had no idea." Arthur's voice quivered with a mix of surprise and emotion. "Had I known you were alone, I would have brought you home."

Molly nodded in agreement, affectionately ruffling Anton's hair. "You must come stay with us after your return from Hogwarts."

Anton's face lit up with joy, his eyes sparkling as he expressed, "I now have a family. My uncles and aunts have been incredibly kind to me, and the other relatives have shown me great warmth."

Arthur gazed in disbelief, his expression a mix of astonishment and contemplation. "How could my wayward brother have such good friends? You should be with your family, Anthony."

At that moment, a royal blue BMW approached in the distance, adorned with delicate artificial diamonds shimmering in the sunlight.

"Oh, Merlin's beard," Arthur marveled at the car.

"I adore Muggle cars the most. Look at it, it's a masterpiece." he exclaimed with admiration.

"If only we could touch it!" he mused with a hint of longing.

As the BMW came to a halt beside them, Arthur, taken aback, tentatively reached out to touch the vehicle.

Molly quickly stepped in, giving him a gentle reprimand, "Arthur, you can't do that in front of the children."

The door swung open, and a figure quickly retrieved a bag from the driver's seat before stepping out of the car.

"Anton, why on earth did you venture to the station alone?" Lupin scolded him, his voice laced with concern. "Young wizards should be accompanied by their parents for such occasions. I even bought you some chicken nuggets..."
