Time passed slowly, and when Eisen closed *The Mystery of Transfiguration* again, it was time for lunch.

Eisen, who had been training to perfect his core abilities, paid great attention to the magical discipline of Transfiguration. Previously, he had believed that his skill in Transfiguration had reached a very advanced level. From his own knowledge and memory, since he was capable of transforming elements, he felt that few people could surpass him in Transfiguration.

That's right, although Eisen wanted to believe his skills had even surpassed Dumbledore's, he had to admit that Dumbledore was the greatest wizard in the world. Eisen couldn't easily draw such a bold conclusion.

However, the more he studied Transfiguration, the more he realized how mysterious it truly was. Sometimes, Eisen even suspected that Transfiguration might operate on a completely different system from other spells.

If Transfiguration was powerful enough, it seemed capable of performing many of the same functions as other spells—whether for offense or defense. Eisen could, for example, use Transfiguration to turn objects into flames, achieving the same result as a Fire Curse. Likewise, he could mimic the effects of a Petrification Spell or a Freezing Charm through Transfiguration.

The ideas presented in *Arcana of Transfiguration* inspired him greatly. For instance, there was a technique for turning prepared food into different objects, like when Dumbledore conjured dinner for the students. At first glance, such methods might seem like Transfiguration, but they were odd—after all, wasn't Transfiguration about changing shapes? How could summoning food from thin air be possible? This seemed closer to teleportation.

After some thought, Eisen began to wonder if Transfiguration could be combined with the theory behind Apparition. If he could somehow merge these two magics, perhaps he could circumvent the restrictions on Apparition within Hogwarts.

After all, while Hogwarts had strong protections against Apparition, it didn't restrict Transfiguration. If he could create a spell that blended these two disciplines, it might be possible to teleport around Hogwarts freely.

With this new idea in mind, Eisen suddenly lost interest in further reading. He returned *The Mystery of Transfiguration* to the shelf and left the library.

When Eisen entered the Great Hall for lunch, he noticed Ron sitting gloomily, forcefully shoving pieces of meat into his mouth while fiddling with his wand.

"What's wrong? Is something the matter?" Eisen asked curiously as he sat down next to Hermione, noticing Ron's frustrated expression.

"Ron's wand broke yesterday," Harry explained sympathetically.

"Yes, thank goodness the professor saved me and Harry that day, but when the car flipped over, my wand snapped," Ron said glumly. He first thanked Eisen for his actions, but then held out his broken wand, which had been wrapped several times with magic tape.

"That's unfortunate," Eisen said with a shrug. He looked at the taped-up wand and, though he wanted to laugh, he restrained himself out of courtesy.

"Professor Eisen, look!" Hermione tugged at Eisen's arm excitedly.

Eisen turned his gaze to Hermione just as she waved her wand at a beetle, transforming it into a beautiful button.

"Excellent Transfiguration, Hermione! I'm sure Professor McGonagall gave you extra points for that," Eisen complimented her, unable to hide his admiration.

Blushing slightly at Eisen's praise, Hermione smiled happily, though she didn't notice that Ron's mood was souring.

"Ron, maybe you should write home and ask for a new wand," Harry suggested sympathetically.

"Yeah, and get a Howler for it," Ron replied grimly. He could already picture his mother yelling in front of the entire Great Hall: *'Your wand broke because of your own fault!'*

Ron then tucked the broken wand away.

"By the way, what's your next class?" Eisen asked, trying to change the subject.

"It's Defense Against the Dark Arts," Hermione replied, pulling out her schedule.

Ron glanced at the schedule and suddenly showed a mischievous grin. "Hey, why did you circle Professor Eisen's class with a heart?"

Hermione glanced nervously at Eisen, and when she saw his slightly surprised expression, her face turned bright red. Without a word, she snatched the timetable from Ron's hand, clearly flustered.

"Hello, are you Harry?" a timid voice suddenly interrupted. Eisen turned to see a thin boy with gray hair staring at Harry as if in awe, holding what appeared to be a Muggle camera.

"Uh, who are you?" Harry asked, looking confused. Since he had missed the sorting ceremony, he didn't know the boy standing before him.

"I'm Colin Creevey. I'm in Gryffindor, too," the boy said shyly, though he gathered his courage and stepped forward. "I was wondering—could I take a picture of you?"

"Take a picture?" Harry repeated, still puzzled.

"Yes! So I can prove that I saw you! I know all about you—everyone does. You escaped You-Know-Who, and now you've got that lightning scar on your forehead," Colin said excitedly, staring at Harry's forehead as if searching for the famous mark.

"And I heard from someone in my dormitory that if you use the right revealing potion, the people in the photo will even move! Isn't that amazing?"

Colin's excitement was palpable, and his whole body seemed to tremble as he spoke. "Before I got my acceptance letter, I had no idea that the strange things I could do were magic. My dad's a milkman, and he couldn't believe it either. So, I want to take a bunch of pictures to show him!"

Ah, a Muggle-born wizard, Eisen thought. He understood what was going on now.

"Maybe I could stand next to you and ask your friend to take the picture. And then maybe you could even sign it!" Colin suggested, looking at Harry with a pleading expression.

"Signed photos? Harry Potter's giving out signed photos?" a familiar, sneering voice rang out. Eisen turned to see Draco Malfoy approaching, loud enough for others to hear.

Oh no, Eisen thought, rubbing his temples. It seemed like Malfoy and Harry were fated to clash.

"Everyone, line up! Mr. Potter's handing out signed pictures!" Malfoy announced, causing Crabbe and Goyle to laugh.

"I didn't—" Harry clenched his fists, glaring at Malfoy.

"Eat slugs, Malfoy!" Ron shouted, clearly fed up with Malfoy's antics.

"Well, well. Watch out, Weasley! Don't make any more trouble, or your mother will take you right back home!" Malfoy sneered at Ron, making the nearby Slytherins burst into laughter.
