Kapitel 32: Professor Argon's Condition

The carriage halted with a jerk. Ziran's eyes fell over the petite woman curled up in a corner. His heart softened instantly. They have more than enough time together, there is no rush at all.

He quietly continued staring at the sleeping Xixi. Her cherry-like lips slightly open, probably mumbling some gibberish of dreams. It dawned upon him how quickly time passes when he noticed the reddish hue of the atmosphere.

A little reluctantly he shook her hand with tenderness, it was as if he was trying to coax her into a deeper sleep rather than waking her up. Xixi could feel a source of warmth tracing over her hands in her drowsy state. She snuggled up to the source of warmth to seek comfort. The temperature was getting lower with each passing second and his warm hands made her sigh in comfort.

Ziran wouldn't have the heart to make this relaxing time between them shorter. But they needed to reach the mansion nearby as well.
