Later in the evening, Sheriff Bill came to talk to Dad about the safety measures he's taken in the Amalfi to keep us safe for the time being until said otherwise. Even though he's used his force and with Kevin's hands in it, the security is tightened, I couldn't help but feel that it isn't enough. Edward's ideal skill will leave the cops slow and through Parker's effortlessness, he can break in everywhere and Cruz's craziness will drive anyone off the highest cliff in the Coast, and Luca's gaze is enough to burn anyone alive.

Dad seemed pretty convinced by the Sheriff, because the whole town had bestowed their faith in him and he never put them down. He gave me a knowing look when the Sheriff promised to 'kill that bastard' before giving the number of his patrolling guards and left the cottage.
