Kapitel 28: Chapter 27

As Ackerly sets his sights on Killan, he can't help but notice the fiery temper that emanates from him upon his return to the Alpha meeting. Ackerly refrained from fueling Killan's already intense emotions, opting instead to create a physical distance between them to allow for some much-needed breathing room.

Ackerly was keenly aware that he didn't need to smother Killan any further, lest the man awaken and depart from his side. He trembled at the mere thought of it, for he knew deep down that his heart had already been claimed by the alluring Alpha Killan.

Ackerly remained stoic, his lips sealed shut, refusing to utter a single word. As he stepped into his home, his eyes fell upon Killan, who was bellowing at Cato and Sael with a ferocity that made his blood run cold.

As he was about to step into the Pack House, Ackerly's attention was suddenly seized by Killan's words, though he initially chose to disregard them.
