Kapitel 417: Oh My

When I woke up I buried my face against Benedito's now hairy chest and let out a deep sigh.  How had a night of fun turned into such a mess? I could not even really remember what had happened from the moment I had my nightmare but I knew it must have been bad if Benedito was in bed next to me on the ranch. 

My stomach twisted as I felt an invisible hand wrap around my throat and strangle me. My throat closed up almost immediately as hot white tears gathered in my eyes. This was the last thing I wanted to happen. If my nightmare had been that bad that Benedito had to come here then it meant that my family had probably seen everything. 

"Meu coração," Benedito's raspy voice flooded into my ears as my face heated up. 

I had not even noticed I had been crying against his chest until that very moment. My body felt like hell and I found it incredibly hard to move as I tried to wiggle my way out of Benedito's arms.
