Kapitel 24: Part Twenty Four

Daryl arrived at the restaurant where his right-hand man was waiting for him and made his way inside. It was filled with few patrons who were having brunch. Daryl glanced around looking for the bulky shadow of the man he was meeting. He found him situated at a corner in the restaurant hidden from the sights of other patrons. An excellent spot, Daryl thought making his way in his direction.

Elizabeth sat impatiently as Max maneuvered his way through the traffic trying not to lose sight of the car that has Madeline and their money inside. She cursed out loud when their lane was rudely cut in by a big truck successfully cutting off their view of the black small car that was making its way to God knows where.

"Get out of the way," Elizabeth screamed in anger even though the driver of the truck has no way of hearing her.
