Kapitel 47: Chapter forty-six

Daryl has been talking to the board members about reinstating his position, but was not making any headway so he was trying a new tactic.

He sat in the restaurant, leg crossed with a glass of wine in front of him while he waited for the person he was meeting. 

Daryl was here to meet his old friend Jonas to plead his case and to see if he will see reason. That he was still the best man for his job, and they can't actually force him out of his own business.

If he can get Jonas on his side then he can help convince the rest of the board members that their earlier decision was a wrong one.

The restaurant he was treating his friend to was one of the expensive Italian restaurants in the city. His friend had always been a fan of Italian food and this was his way of softening him up.
