Kapitel 38: Chapter 38

Michael Angelo took the dextrose that was attached to his hand and tried to stand up. But Mrs. Adelaine saw him.

"What are you doing, Michael Angelo?" Mrs. Adelaine asked with brows furrowed. She stopped her son and called a nurse to put the dextrose back in Michael Angelo.

"I need to see my wife, Mom. I need to be at her side." Michael Angelo said with his pleading eyes.

"No, you can't see her. You should take a rest first." Mr. Robert said.

"Don't worry about her. Athena's parents are there to take care of her. You need to rest and heal your wounds," Mr. Robert said. Michael Angelo has nothing to do but obey what his parents said.

"Besides, Anthony doesn't want to see you around. He is blaming you for what happened to his daughter. After all, I couldn't blame him. If I were on his shoe, I would do the same thing." Mr. Robert massaged his temple in frustration. He sat on the chair beside the hospital bed, where Michael Angelo was lying.
