Kapitel 2: Chapter 2
In the taxi, Tina was feeling a bit sad, she didn't get to say a proper thank you to the gentleman, Raphael.she had searched for him at the airport but couldn't find him.
she released a long sigh, At least she is very much better than in the Airplane.The nap she took was indeed the best choice.
The taxi finally reached her destination.Tina dropped down from the car alongside her luggages.Thanked the driver with a little token and turned around to face the house that's suppose to be -if she's correct- Andrew's house.She hasn't been to country X talk more of Andrew house so she wasn't sure just following Address.
She rang the doorbell twice and waited.She was getting somewhat nervous, it's been long she has seen Andrew. Since the year he finished school,he left country M to X and never came back, they only communicated through phone calls, so this visit was like a get together.
She heard the door creak open, but instead of seeing her Andrew, it was a lady!. Immediately she wanted to ask 'who are you?' but held back,she didn't want to sound like Andrew oversensitive and jealous girl in front of this lady, who might be Andrew's girlfriend.
"umm, I am looking for Andrew" Tina gave her sweetest smile.
"Who are you?" The lady -short brown hair, black eyes, plump lips, fair skin- spoke rudely as she stared at Tina face then at her luggages.
'okay... she's rude' Tina noted
"I'm Andrew's friend" Tina replied, all smiles leaving her face. The lady was about to speak rudely again before Andrew's voice interrupted.
"Tina?" He called as he came closer to the door.
The moment Tina heard Andrew's voice, the excitement that had died down due to this lady's appearance sprang up again.She ran past the lady at the door and jumped on Andrew, giving him a tight hug.Andrew hugged her back, he missed his Tina.
They stayed in that position for some time forgetting someone else was there until they heard a cough,then they realized she was still there.They broke from the hug and faced the lady.
"You're welcome Tina" Andrew spoke as he took Tina's luggages into her room he prepared specially for her. Coming back he proceeded to introduction.
"Tina, meet Alice my girlfriend" Andrew smiled as he put a hand around Alice.The smile Tina noticed wasn't sincere.
"Hi" Tina waved.
"And... Alice, meet Tina my closest friend." Alice didn't wave back but instead rolled her eyes. "Why is she with her luggages?, Is she planning on staying here? Is she going to ruin our first day together?" She asked All at once.fake panic all over her face.
"calm down Alice, She's..." before Andrew could complete his words, Tina interrupted.vexed.
"I am going, I'm not staying permanently"
"When??" Alice cried out.
"Tomorrow." Tina replied without even registering her words.She said it out of ego and was now regretting her words.
"oh! Thank goodness" Alice smiled walking away.
Tina looked at Andrew who had a surprise expression all over his face. "Do you have some where else to go to"
"No, I don't Drew, you know I don't" Tina faced palm herself
"Then....."
"I did it out of ego. I am a girl, she's a girl, you know, it's a girl thing. And plus I didn't want to be a third party, she said.."
"it's fine Tina, it's my fault, I should have told Alice you were coming, although I wasn't expecting her to decide to stay with me all of a sudden." Andrew sighed. "I know you can't afford a house, so I would get you somewhere to stay".
