Two days later, Harry came to pick Ron up one evening with Hermione to go to the party organized by Slughorn, Ron had been warned the day before so he had planned to go with Luna who arrived with Lucius in a very… colorful dress.
Ron loved the wacky style of his beloved so with a wave of his wand, he enchanted Luna's dress which although still colorful became a superb evening dress more beautiful and elegant.
Luna really liked this and she kissed him before they left.
When they arrived in the large room where Professor Slughorn's party was being held, the others were surprised to have them dressed so well, they were quite chic and elegant.
Horace: Ah, Mr. Weasley and Mr. Potter are here. Miss Granger, it's also a pleasure to see you. (Looks at Luna) You must be my Miss Lovegood, you and Mr. Weasley really are inseparable as the others say. I heard that you are the best in Ravenclaw when it comes to spells and the study of fantastic beasts. You are welcome, take a seat.
Luna: Thank you.
The evening started for them where they enjoyed ice cream and they started discussing several things.
Ron: In my opinion, Professor, it is a bad idea to limit this club to only your students whose abilities are exceptional.
Horace: What do you mean?!
Ron: Instead of only inviting the most extraordinary of your students, why not invite the most extraordinary students from all four houses. The Slughorn Club will grow to become a gathering of exceptionally talented students. Even after you, it could remain there in this room with your large living portrait, it would be a legendary club welcoming only the most extraordinary talents, admired and envied by all. It would be amazing for future generations.
Cormac: He's right, professor, it would be great.
Horace: Weasley, your idea is absolutely brilliant. A club where only the elites meet. And why not wear masks too for a little touch of mystery?
Ron: And code names for the different masks. There will be no muggle born, mixed blood or pure blood behind these masks, just brilliant students with great potential who will form the elite in the magical society of tomorrow.
Horace: EXCELLENT MY BOY! I knew you would be an amazing member of the club, but your quick wit surprises me. It will be necessary to appoint a president for the club and I will only be the founder.
Hermione: The president of such a club must be the most promising, influential student and have the best results.
Cormac wanted to volunteer but he looked at the mountain that was Ron in front of him and that idea was driven from his mind forever.
Cormac: Who other than Ronald Weasley could have this title? For 6 years, he has been the best student in the school in all areas, he is famous and he is the youngest Quidditch world champion.
Horace: I completely agree McLaggen. What do you say, Mr. Weasley?
Ron: It would be an honor but this place will be too small to host the gathering evenings. There are fairly open areas on the third floor that could be converted, secret places only accessible to members.
Horace: Uh-Oh I see what place you're talking about Weasley. How do you know these places?
Ron: Harry, Hermione and I discovered them in first year. I think I can arrange them without problem.
Horace: Excellent, thank you very much Weasley.
Ginny also came and the evening continued until they left except Harry and Ron who stayed to chat with him.
Ron: Professor, do you have any regrets?
Horace: Certainly Weasley, at my age we have quite a few. What kind of regrets are you talking about.
Ron: (sighs) Professor, I was sincere about everything I said about the club, but you also suspect that Dumbledore sent us to get something from you, right?
Harry: You were Tom Reddle's teacher, his favorite teacher it seems. Can you tell us about him before he became-(interrupted).
Horace: Young people, it's late. I don't think that-(interrupted)
Ron: You have nothing to be ashamed of having been his teacher, you are ambitious like the other Slytherins but you are a good man and an excellent teacher, the failures of your students are not yours. I know about the horcrux magic.
Horace: How...?!
Ron: I read a lot, Professor, and Dumbledore trusts me. Only, you live with a demon inside your memory, a guilt that chains you to the grip of the memory of Tom. Professor, we need to move forward and we need to know if Tom used horcruxes if we are to effectively end him. The false memory you gave Dumbledore doesn't help him while he wants to help you.
Harry: Professor, Voldemort killed my parents and my mother was one of your students. If you had respect for her then help Dumbledore stop Tom, at least in her memory.
"You really have your mother's eyes Harry." Horace said before pointing his wand at his forehead to extract one of his memories.
Horace: Don't judge me too much when you see this.
Ron: No one will do it professor because now we will be able to move forward and look towards the future that you will help us build by helping us not to get lost like your former student.
They collected the memory in a small test tube and thanked Slughorn before leaving there completely satisfied.
Harry took the memory back with him and Ron returned to his large bedroom where Luna was already waiting for him in the bed.
The next day in the morning, Ron was in Dumbledore's office with Harry and the Gaunt ring in his hand. They had given him the souvenir and all three had seen it in the pensieve.
"After what I just saw, your hypothesis seems true about Voldemort and the horcruxes. I checked the ring and it really does contain a piece of soul, it's very dark magic and fortunately you consulted me before trying anything otherwise your body would have paid a terrible price. » Ron said in front of the pensieve with his arms crossed.
Dumbledore: He owned the ring you are holding so this soul fragment inside must be his.
Harry: There's also Tom's diary that we destroyed in second year, this memory of him must have been his soul fragment. The Sword of Gryffindor should help us destroy the ring.
Ron: We can't do this, buddy! I'll really need this ring.
Harry: Why?
Ron: Find the other horcruxes. I devoted myself this summer to intense, advanced and deep learning in dark magic because the professor and I doubted that Voldemort would have used horcruxes.
Dumbledore: I had to find this ring and my knowledge of dark magic is good but insufficient while Mr. Weasley's faculties of learning, understanding and assimilation are inhumanly high, high enough for him to guarantee me his full mastery of advanced black magic at the start of the school year.
Harry: Seriously!!? Ron! And you professor, why do you trust him so much for having confided this to him?
Dumbledore: I can recognize someone capable at my age Harry. Ronald is your friend and I'm sure you know his power is great, right?
Harry: Yes professor…
Dumbledore: He faced Voldemort at the Ministry without difficulty before my eyes and yours too Harry so there are times when he is a student like you for me and there are circumstances where he is a powerful and reliable ally.
Ron: This is not the first time he has collaborated in this way with his students or former students against a dangerous enemy. Against Grindelwald, you collaborated with Newt Scamander (Norbert Scamander) and several other powerful wizards. (to Harry) Our director is strong but he can't do everything himself and I'm sure he would have ended up losing his life.
Dumbledore:…
Ron: Yes professor, I can recognize that look too... Anyway, Harry and I have a game to play so we'll leave you to it. As for the necklace you gave me, the dark magic that inhabits it is extremely strong. The Opal Necklace is a horcrux.
Dumbledore: Are you sure?
Ron: I'm convinced of it, I don't know who the creator is but he is much more powerful than Voldemort. I'll let you know later Professor, we have to go.
Dumbledore: I understand, Harry, you will come see me later.
Harry: Okay professor.
They headed towards the dormitories to change and Harry asked several questions to Ron who answered calmly. They then went to meet the others in the great hall where they had breakfast with the others.
The Gryffindor team was already grouped together when their captain and vice-captain arrived, Ginny was chatting with Neville and the two were a little stressed because it was going to be their first match.
The Slytherin team on their table kept a low profile, the school for years now had been under Gryffindor supremacy and everyone knew what the outcome of the match would be.
They all found themselves on the field where the stands were full to capacity and the match began.
Gryffindor as usual took the advantage very quickly and the domination in points was total between the combination of Ron and Ginny, the fast races of Katie or the Dean-Cormac duo which knocked out several opposing players.
However, the player who stood out the most was Neville who did not let any of the opposing shots penetrate the Gryffindor rings, he stopped everything to the cheers of the crowd but barely they crossed 70 points at zero that the match was stopped because Harry had already caught the Golden Snitch.
Although the match wasn't longer, with the show Gryffindor put on, they were satisfied although they were asking for more.
The golden team led by Ron was so strong that the match seemed to be between a national team and children.
There was a party in the Gryffindor hall that evening to celebrate their overwhelming victory and finally, Harry and Hermione kissed to the cries and applause of the others, it was Hermione who took the initiative of the kiss because Ron had advised her to do it without Harry's knowledge.
Ron and Luna on the other hand were mingling their mouths in bed and they were getting closer and closer to crossing the sexual line although they were both still holding back and it was an achievement. (You have been young and know how difficult it is to resist at that age. Take two teenagers madly in love and put them in a house without any parental supervision, it will happen quickly, very quickly in fact.).
There was such passionnate between them that the desire for the other became more and more burning, the kisses became burning and the caresses became needs. It was enough for one of them to try to take the initiative for the other to follow.
