Kapitel 14: SHIRATORIZAWA VS KARASUNO !!!! AND CONVERSATION!
After the match , seijoh left the gym dejected and karasuno left the gym cheerfully . Both teams were heading to their rest rooms but Uchiha decided to take a detour and went towards washroom , when he entered the washroom , he saw a complicated scene , he saw oikawa and Iwaizumi crying there. when both of them noticed uchiha they tried to stop crying but couldn't . seeing them crying uchiha went towards them and lifted his hand in order to shake . Seeing his hand both of them hesitated for a second but still shake it . Both of them had a determined expression saying ' WE WILL DEFEAT YOU NEXT TIME !!! ' , seeing this uchiha smiles and was about to leave .
" Why did you not enter the court from the starting ?? , was it just to give us false hope ? " Iwaizumi couldn't help but asked in heavy voice . " truth is , I was not even planning to enter the court in the match but i couldn't help but respect and acknowledge the hard work and time you guys put in volleyball , accept for kageyama and me everyone in our team is also like you guys and i know very well how hard it is since i was the one who trained them for this nationals " uchiha said while both of them were dumbly looking at uchiha , " I respect you as a ace , Iwaizumi-san " uchiha said while pointing to iwaizumi " and you as a setter , to be honest i would love to have you as my setter in future instead of kageyama " he said while pointing to oikawa , he left after saying this .
"Di-Did he J-Just say that he trained them for N-Nationals ?? " Iwaizumi said seeing uchiha leaving figure , Oikawa was ignoring all this , his thought were only on tow line ' he respects me and my efforts towards volleyball and he would prefer me as a setter instead of kageyama ' "YOOSSH !!! LET'S GO IWA-CHAN , TIME TO DO MORE PRACTICE " oikawa said and started running , during whole time he had just one thought ' I WILL SET FOR YOU ONE DAY !! BUT BEFORE THAT I WILL DEFEAT YOU!!!! '
Uchiha returned to karasuno resting room and was questioned by coach why he was late and uchiha answered that he took a detour to washroom . " Gather around everyone , we are discussing our strategy for tomorrow " Uchiha said while trying to gain everyone's attention . everyone gathered around Coach Ukai . " tomorrow you guys will not be wearing blindfold , we will be using cross blocking technique to stop ushiwaka spike but first we will give tsukishima some time to stop his spikes , Asahi you will be using your full strength tomorrow and Uchiha , you will be playing last three sets , first set setter kageyama and second set setter both sugawara and kageyama . arrangements can be changed depending on the match " Coach Ukai said to his team , everyone nodded at this . " Guys , i want you guys to destroy shiratorizawa tomorrow " " Something happened , that you want us to destroy shiratorizawa ?? " " It's simple , they are very arrogant and don't acknowledge other's hard work , their coach especially is very stubborn and don't understand how other players feel " when Uchiha stated this even some members of karasuno were angry .
Next day came soon and karasuno was already in the gym where match was supposed to take place , Karasuno were doing their warm up wearing the blindfolds when shiratorizawa entered the gym . they saw their opponent already doing warm up and started their own , suddenly tendou said " HAIIII - these guys are still wearing their blindfolds " listening to this shirabu got angry and said " DAMNN BASTARDS !! DARE TO UNDERESTIMATE US!!! " h was going to complaint more but was stopped by ushijima who had a wicked grin on his face , seeing this grin shirabu also felt excited and thanked karasuno in his mind to make ushijima excited . What made him more excited was that karasuno took them off before coming on court.
Daichi was first to serve and he did a jump serve surprising some , the serve ended with a no touch ace and karasuno scored the first point . Daichi served again and hit on the hand of tendou but landed out of bounds giving karasuno another point 2-0 . Third serve was received perfectly by their libero and ball went to their setter who tossed it to ushijima , ushijima spiked the ball breaking through blockers , nishinoya tried to receive it but since it was his first time , ball went out of bounds . 2-1 . Nishinoya took a look at ushijima and grins .
Taichi serves next and ball hit the net but was picked by tanaka , kageyama calls for asahi and tossed it to him , asahi seeing the ball took his runner up and jumped , when ball reached its spot he spiked the ball with 100% of his strength making the ball break through the block and landed giving karasuno a point , seeing the force behind asahi spike , everyone in shiratorizawa was shocked ' That spike had power almost at the level of ushiwaka ' their coach thought while looking towards asahi . 3-1 . karasuno called for a time out . On karasuno bench ,
" Guys please lose this set , i need some data on shiratorizawa and this will also make them underestimate us " Uchiha said to team . the team nodded and went back on court .
First set continued and both team kept scoring , ushiwaka scoring almost all the points for shiratorizawa and for karasuno they used asahi sometimes while sometimes used their weirdo quick . First set ended with shiratorizawa victorious .
Second set started with karasuno subbing in sugawara and subbing out daichi . the second set continued as normal but one thing that happened out of expectation of others was tsukishima blocking ushijima at the last second of game , winning karasuno the set . During the whole second and first set kageyama and asahi shined the most in terms of scoring . Kageyama scoring with sugawara asa double setter spike , serves and setter dumps while asahi scoring through brute force. Hinata was also scoring points here and there but he was mainly focused on covering up the far ends of courts , not letting the ball hit ground and also actively take part in blocking . Soon the third set will begin and Uchiha will be subbed in in place of kageyama .
