Kapitel 134: A new life

She saw two things that day, she heard two things that day. The first was the thousands of glimmering lights that rained the coliseum and the thousands of screams that accompanied it. "Dalyor," she thought as she looked through the window and over that blue sky.

The second one, she had not expected. After the lights died down and the screams dwindled, she saw it; a rowboat reaching their shore and a lone man riding it. She knew that it was a man from the thick beard that showed from under that white hood. She saw his lips move and the boat moved without his rowing.

Chaenath went to Callaway's room. "Hey, there is someone at the shore. Come and see if you know them," she rocked her.

Callaway slept till noon most of the time, sleep was all she ever did. "What?" she looked up, her eyes were red.

"There is someone by the shore," she pointed.
