Kapitel 172: Training while Impatiently waiting pt 2

Opening the door Zeph spotted a solid-looking metallic desk that looked like it had been permanently attached to the equally metallic floor that had a few stripes of textured traction paint so often to help prevent trips and falls on the otherwise slick surface.

Zeph imagined if the floor was wet from being freshly cleaned it would be incredibly difficult to walk across without kissing the cold hard floor.

He half expected to see another brute of a man who looked more like a hairless ape than someone capable of logical thought, standing behind the desk inside of the primary holding area, but wasn't completely shocked by the sight of a beautiful dark brown-haired woman who had some nice curves.

"Please sign the entry logs for the official records."

As she spoke, she pointed down at what looked to be a ruggedized datapad that had been framed in metal and bolted down to the surface of the metal desk.
