On his way out of Archon Crix Zis's office, Zeph found Chief Bobby Marlecl who was standing in the hallway having just finished his own little meeting that was not just one intended to fill his time while he waited on him.

"I hope your conversation went as well or better than mine, Demonbane. I would ask you about it, but I know that I should not and that your time is rather short."

"Ha, that is an understatement. Chief if you are trying to get an invite to go enjoy the meal that I do not have time to sit down to, just ask. If eating a ration pack in a cockpit at fifty thousand feet is the price I must pay to make progress toward pay dirt so be it."

"I would, but I heard your daughter likes to bite."

"Only if you ask nicely. Seriously, if you want to have dinner with my family and likely most of my squad members, be my guest. I really didn't mind, and Tamrel is not half bad in the kitchen. She is not Bel but, her pasta is angelic."
