Kapitel 29: Red Pepper 1 and the girl with the Void physics

''You were saying?" Irina asked while playing with her daggers coated in blood but the two guards weren't in the state to respond. Dante was calmly watching everything from the back, he was intrigued by the move used by Irina to quickly take down two expert level 1 awakener despite not having a speed-related element like him, he wants to test her, to fight against her to improve himself.

''Let's go.'' Irina declared as she advanced toward the black door in front of them.

Gray, shoulder-length hair slightly covers a thin, cheerful face. Glistening brown eyes, set well within their sockets, watch energetically over this place they've come to love for so long.

Soft skin gorgeously compliments her nose and mouth and leaves a pleasant memory of her fortunate upbringing.

This is the face of Allyssa Chilson, a true monster in the underworld. She stands big among others, despite her delicate frame.

Allyssa Chilson is her given name but in the underworld, she is better known as Red Pepper, a dangerous woman no one would ever dare to underestimate.

Naturally, Red Pepper knew what was happening outside the door, she could detect everything from behind the desk, she knew the number of intruders, and she even knew the identity of one of them, as for the other one surely someone new.

Despite knowing her men lying moaning on the group in their blood, Red Pepper didn't do anything, she even asked the other members of her crew to go out while she sat behind her desk with her legs crossed as she waited for the intruders to show up.

Finally, Irina and Dante walked in and upon seeing them, Red Pepper's eyes momentarily stopped on Dante before moving to Irina, whom she had been expecting. A slow smile worked its way across her face and into her eyes.

''Irina, have you come to finally join us?"

''I thought I said many that I wasn't interested?"

''Come on, just accept it already. Think about the many benefits, for example being able to cure your l-" Red Pepper hadn't finished talking before she was forced to stop as Irina suddenly attacked her. She disappeared from her she was and reappeared before Red Pepper in an instant with her dagger aiming at the latter neck.

''Relax. I was joking.'' Red Pepper declared while pinching the dagger between her fingers, right before it could touch her neck. She was unfazed by the completely different Irina, not even the terrifying bloodlust coming from Irina was able to affect her.

And as usual, Dante was simply observing everything but there was one thing he was curious about, he was curious about how many people and monsters this girl had killed to possess so much heavy killing intent. As for the reason, Irina flipped a switch he could guess it, there is one only situation that could turn her into that state, someone related to her is suffering and this may be the reason why this girl became like this.

'Search for any clue regarding this girl. I bet she must have a family member she is protecting and will do anything for this person. Information is power, knowing much can be helpful.' Dante instructed Nemesis and the system immediately began searching for information by trespassing into Irina's smartwatch where she found some pictures and little information.

Dante's eyes narrowed upon hearing the term 'Void physics'.

Void physics is considered a disease, it is extremely rare and is curable in 5% of cases and it went without saying that the cost is astronomical. In a world where mana is essential, not having any can be fatal and reduce your life expectancy.

Irina's jaws were almost hitting the floor after hearing Red Pepper's declaration and seeing the dangerous luster in the latter's eyes.
