Kapitel 17: Punishment And Reward

"If you have any problems you may refuse the reward but punishment is compulsory." The Ball said almost sounding like a smug.

"I will accept both." Max answered instantly

"Then first hear your punishment. Your punishment is one-half cosmology equalization." The Ball said calmly like usual.

"What does that mean…?" Max asked with a puzzled look on his face.

"Remember how you could only use a very small fraction of your power in your original world due to cosmology differences?"

"Yes I do… wait- don't tell me…" Max could not help but shutter a little.

"Yes. You will have to create twice as much for cosmology equalization than normal. Your original world has one multiverse and for you to use your power to the fullest there you need to create two multiverses or one complex multiverse."

Max's eyes narrowed in annoyance and could not help but let out a wail. He felt like he washed away all his hard work with his own hands.

"..." The Ball stayed quiet which made Max eyebrow raise. He was sure that it would have made fun of him because the cry (wail) and how his oversmartness hurted himself.

"Not going to make fun of me…?" Max asked with curiosity.

"I would have if you had only gotten the punishment… but you also got a reward… something which should be way too early for you." The Ball said calmly as ever.

"The way you speak must mean that the reward is something super good huh~?" Max said, grinning in excitement and forgetting about the grief he felt just a moment ago.

"You cannot use the reward immediately but in future it would be quite useful to you." The Ball's calmness seemed to be a little affected as it said that.

"Come on, man! Just spill the beans. You are creating too much suspense!" Max said, getting more and more excited.

"Very well… Your reward is that you can create universes with any and all forms of power systems in it." The Ball for the first time sighed.

"...?" Max smiled kindly and titled his head to the right. He had no idea what it meant.

"I refuse to explain it to you until you are done with the creation of the current universe. Usually you unlock this power after the creation of at least five complex multiverses." The Ball said, gaining its composure instantly.

"What!? Why not!? It's supposed to be my reward, you know!" Max said and tried to grab the Ball.

The Ball disappeared just the moment before Max was about to grab it and then reappeared a bit far away.

"It's your fault for not knowing enough. No matter what you do I will not answer until you are done with creating your current project."

"That's why I hate you! Wait- just tell me what the reward is all about and I promise to not use whatever it is! Just tell me!" Max asked with pleading eyes.

"I refuse to and I will only contact you when you are done creating at least a galaxy. If you try to use force and summon me I will never tell you about your reward."

The Ball disappeared after saying that leaving behind Max in endless void and making him sigh very deeply.

"Come on man! This is straight up torture! You can't just make me so excited and then leave! It's the same as being left on read!" Max yelled loudly.

Max continued to yell for a few moments but then he shook his head in defeat and looked down at the three structures with a straight face.

He closed his eyes and teleported to the material world; particularly the one which he was staying in originally.

Max opened his eyes again and founded himself in front of Boome: the first planet he had created and the only planet with life.

Max looked down upon the planet with a calm gaze and his lips rising to form a kind smile as he suddenly felt his heart warming with satisfaction.

Max could see the souls of the dead finally passing to the afterlife with the help of the river of reincarnation. The unstable world had finally become stable.

"Now… time to work."

Max could not help but sighed very deeply as he said that. He turned around to leave but before completing leaving he took another glance over the planet.

"I hope he does not die… my favorite human."

Max said and flew towards a vacant space so he could create more solar systems while wondering what the reward could possibly be.

(Ball breaking the fourth wall and giving note: Max is dumb-dumb.)
