Kapitel 80: Resting Days IV

Alex's mind raced, desperately searching for an escape route. The way Bima's friends flanked them, the predatory glint in their eyes—everything screamed a fight was imminent. He gripped his fists, a surge of adrenaline coursing through him. He wouldn't go down without a fight, but facing four potentially hostile students, all with unknown powers, seemed like a suicide mission.

"Yunus, stay back," he hissed through gritted teeth, his voice low and urgent. 

There was no time to explain everything, but he knew Yunus wouldn't be much help in a brawl. He needed to focus on de-escalating the situation, or at least buying them some time.

He met Bima's gaze, forcing his voice to remain steady despite the tremor in his heart. "Look, Bima. We understand your pain, truly. Losing your family is a terrible tragedy, and we wouldn't dream of adding to your suffering."

He paused, gauging Bima's reaction. a storm of emotions swirling behind his eyes.
