Kapitel 207: Death's door

--[Jason´s Pov]--

Blasted away by the huge shockwave caused by the explosion, Jason´s body smashed into a large tree, stopping his short flight through the air.

*Crack*

Jason could only hear a faint crack from his upper back, as searing pain spread throughout his whole body.

Stars swarmed in front of his eyes that began to droop as he slipped into unconsciousness and he fell to the ground.

'Sh*t...I can't stand up….. This explosion was huge...It should be dead, right?' Forcefully smiling, he tried to get up but noticed that it was not possible. 

All the remaining energy left him, along with the will to do anything else other than lie on the ground.

Artemis, who observed everything from above, dived down towards him, worried if he was fine.

Through their strong soul connection, she figured out that Jason´s right shoulder was broken, which worried her.
