Adding the petrification curse which the petrification serpent had utilized to target Suo, his body was also unable to move a single inch.

This sensation remained only for a short while because the petrification serpent averted its gaze to the other young prodigies and gave them the same treatment.

In the end, the weakening curse would be in effect for several hours while the petrification curse would either wear off after a few seconds or stay permanent.

The latter would only happen if one was too weak, and unable to prevent being petrified by the petrification curse.
