Diana's P. O. V
A cab just dropped me off at his house, my stomach was both worried and hungry. I rushed out of the house without having any breakfast.
Makela of course noticed me sneak out of the house at eight am, but she just stared at me not saying a word. At least she knew how to keep her mouth shut, I hope.
Charleston could read minds, as soon as I walked into the living room he led me to one of the dining rooms in the house to have a little breakfast.
I picked up a fork to dig in, but Aubrey walked in, wearing a peachy smile on her face.
"Back so soon are we? I thought West didn't want you here." Aubrey pointed out taking a seat and spreading a napkin across her laps.
I eyed her enviously, and suddenly lost my appetite. She wasn't like Charlotte...or Carina. She was reserved, and very intelligent, she knew her value, which made her so obnoxious.
