Kapitel 2: Chapter 2: First Day

Do you ever get the feeling of queasiness? After a long flight in an airplane, you feel sick in the stomach and need to go number 2? The rocking of the waves made the boat a volatile platform to stand on?

I imagine the transmigration of souls to other planets would do that to you. New place, new feeling and all. But, I feel fine. Here I am, standing in an open forest and breathing in some fresh air.

"Is this… a dream?" My voice sounded a lot younger. Did I regress to a child? Well, at least not as a baby. Don't want to go through diapers again. I also noticed a long strand of my hair to the sides. It's pale blond but feels ragged and slick. Looks like someone didn't take care of their hygiene.

Well, there's one way to know if this is a dream or not. I pinched my arm hard and stopped after feeling some pain.

"Definitely not a dream, I hope." Now that I'm here, wonder what I should do. Should I only look out for myself or help others? I don't want to be an asshole but I sure as hell won't let people walk over me.

And what about money? Or the future? Or what world am I in? All these questions were getting to me until I calmed down all of a sudden. It felt like I took a deep breath and stopped thinking.

What was that? Wait, could it be? "Status."

{Skills}

Gamer's Mind <Lvl: MAX>

Gamer's Body <Lvl: MAX>

Haki <Lvl: 1>

Omega Nanite <Lvl: 1>

I knew it. That was Gamer's Mind, the ability to rationalize my thoughts instantly. Am I glad for that since I would have freaked out a second there. The others I understand but what's that on my title?

[Transmigrated Soul]

[You have been transported to another world, to live a life similar or different than your previous one. But this time, you carry over most of your memories here.]

[Additional 5% increase of Experience]

Nice. At least the grind won't be too much of a bother. I wonder if there are dungeons in this world. I don't see any skills like ID: Dungeon or such.

Would be nice to know what world I'm in. I could literally be in any of a thousand worlds right now and they have a lot of forests that look like this.

I'll come back to that later. Right now, I have to survive here. I have nothing on me and I don't know if Gamer's Body removes the necessity of food and water.

But maybe a quick explanation of how my skills work would be nice.

[Gamer's Mind: Absolute Calm]

[Get your head in the game, literally. Your emotions have been suppressed in the best possible way which gives you a sense of calmness in your head. Any emotional or psychological attack won't work on you and you easily can tell if a person is lying or not.]

[Activated: Absolute defense against mind attacks. Constantly suppress your emotions and rationalize your thoughts better.]

So this skill can dull out my emotions? That explains why I'm thinking so calmly instead of freaking out about the fact that I reincarnated into another world. Wonder if this is a bad thing.

But the ability to tell lies from someone? That's dope. I'm not the greatest in telling if people are gonna cross me or not so this will be so helpful against shifty conmen.

[Gamer's Body: Peak of your Temple]

[Avatars must look cool. Your body can never take lasting damage. Any scars or blemishes will be instantly removed, giving you the best genes. Your body will change, depending on your stat spread.]

[Example: 100 points into Strength will give you a buff body. 100 points into Agility will give you a thin body. Your body will match the current build you want in the game.]

[Activated: Any damage taken will deduct Health Points but cannot leave lasting pain or scars. Food and water can be ingested to refill on HP or MP.]

So I can live without food or water. It simply restores them faster. That's good though I do wish I had some of them. Don't think I'll get rid of the habit of not eating when I want to.

But the ability of my body to be the same as my stats is concerning. As the system said, if I invest too many points into one stat, then my body will change to match that stat and will make me stand out. I don't wanna do that yet so I'll be careful on allocating them.

Now, let's see the gifts I received.

[Haki: Willpower Weaponized]

[Spiritual energy flows through everyone but some master its uses. That spiritual energy is commonly called Haki and it can be devastating with the right amount of training. Once you reach the full potential of Haki, you can split mountains, read the future, and destroy armies with a single glare.]

[Sub-Skills have been unlocked: Armament Haki, Observation Haki, Conqurer's Haki.]

Sub-Skills? What does that mean? System?

[Sub-Skills are branches from the Main-Skills. When your Main-Skill levels up, it also levels up your Sub-Skill. Continue training in the Sub-Skills to level up your Main-Skill.]

Oh, that's cool. Continuous usage of my Sub-Skills will increase my Main-Skill which will make my Haki stronger and more effective. Nice one.

[Color of Arms: Busoshoku Haki]

[Considered one of the hardest Haki to master, Busoshoku Haki allows you to coat any part of your body in spiritual energy.]

[Continuous mastery of this skill will allow you to Harden your skin to nigh improbable defense and a massive increase of strength, Imbue your weapons with Haki to make them stronger and deadlier, and advanced techniques to Emmite the energy in the form of a wave blast and to Internally Destroy the user from the inside.]

[Any part coated with Haki will turn black and will only turn darker with each level up. Another ability this skill gives us is the ability to harm the enemy's 'true' body.]

[Activated: +10% increase in offense and defense.]

[Note: Can increase in power and defense upon level up.]

[Cost: 100 MP for 5 minutes]

[Concentrate on where your Haki will manifest and it will come out.]

My entire MP for 5 minutes of Haki? And I have to wait double the amount of time for it to recharge? I wonder if I can lessen the cost of the skill through multiple uses. Looks like there is no drawback once my MP is back to full. Must be because of my Gamer's Body.

What about the others?

[Color of Observation: Kenbunshoku Haki]

[Considered as one of the easier Haki to master, Kenbunshoku Haki grants you a 6th eye. Giving you enhanced eyesight, increased perception, and the ability to temporarily view the future.]

[Activated: A sense of danger will ring out and is up to you to figure out what to do next. ]

[Note: Can increase in perception with every level up]

[Cost: 10 MP for 30 seconds]

Is it an active Skill? Odd. I always thought it was a sense of feeling rather than a skill you have to activate in order to use. But 10 MP for 30 seconds? That's only 6 minutes of constant usage. You have to start somewhere, huh?

But lastly, but certainly not the least one I have which will no doubt be the coolest one yet.

[Color of the Supreme King: Haoshoku Haki]

[Considered one of the rarest Haki to master, Haoshoku Haki exerts your own Willpower over others. Different from the Kenbunshoku and Busushoku Haki, this kind doesn't require continuous training as it blooms more in life-or-death situations.]

[However, this kind is different for you as it can be trained like any other skill.]

[Mastery of this skill will allow you to condense your Haoshoku Haki into your arms like Busoshoku which allows you to destroy your enemies inside without touching them.]

[Activated: An invisible sphere will burst out of you, intimidating any nearby living.]

[Note: Can increase pressure and intimidation with every level up.]

[Cost: 100 MP]

Okay… that's pretty good. Instead of throwing myself to the lion's den to level up, I can simply use this skill whenever I want and train it as well. And with enough uses, I can use Internal Destruction pretty fast. I think.

So far, this system version of Haki is pretty easy to use and with enough dedication to the skill, I can see myself becoming a master of it in the years to come.

But the cost is too much for me to use. If I activate one of them, then I have to wait 10 minutes to recharge and use another and I don't like that. In battle, every second counts, and having my MP empty is deadly to me.

I'll have to upgrade my intelligence to get a bigger mana pool and regen, but also lessen the cost of my Haki with level-ups.

Let's see the next skill I have.

[Omega-1 Nanite: Weapons Manifested]

[Machines and energy combine to create the ultimate toolkit. Using nanites dwelling within you, whatever weapon you desire, it can be done but only through a good grasp of knowledge, complexity, denseness, and energy usage.]

[Activated: Depending on the build, certain body parts will change to suit the purposes of the build.]

[Note: Can consume large amounts of MP or small amounts once activated.]

[Note: Nanites within cannot influence the surrounding area; so you don't have to worry about Evos appearing out of nowhere or randomly infecting the wildlife.]

[Cost: MP dependant. Larger builds = More MP and vice versa.]

Ain't this a godsend? I won't have to worry about making tools in the wilderness now. Since I'm so bad at it.

So if I want a small sword then it won't cost as much as a missile launcher huh? But I can only do so if I know how to make a launcher in the first place.

Can I try it out? I doubt anyone is here in this desolate part of the forest and it's only me. Let's do it.

Let's start with something small and easy. I hold out my right arm and concentrate on it. I can feel something flowing and converging on my hand. What do I want to make first?

How about a gauntlet?

[Request accepted]

Before my eyes, orange metal blocks protruded from my hands and continued to build until my forearm. Before long, my entire arm was enclosed in a large orange gauntlet.

[Gauntlet formed. Cost of MP: 10 MP.]

[Would you like to name it?]

Ohohohoho. I'm gonna enjoy this. I saw a nearby tree to test my new gauntlet. I got into a position that I thought was the most natural to me and readied myself.

I threw my punch and…

*Bam!*

The tree shook a little but didn't topple over. When I removed my fist, it left a small dent where I punched it. "And I feel nothing. The construct must have dulled my pain or protected my fist from the recoil. But this power is a bit much for a 5-year-old to have."

But if this is the power my armored fist does, wonder what it can do with Haki involved?

I concentrated on my Haki towards my armored fist and soon enough, it started to darken. My whole arm was covered in an inky substance and stopped short at my shoulders. I can feel it, the energy within my arm. It feels powerful, like waiting for its energy to be drawn out and force itself on the target.

I looked at the tree again and threw my Haki-powered punch at it and…

*BAM!*

It left a sizable hole in it. It still wasn't enough to topple over but I was more than satisfied with the result. This is my lowest output of damage since coming to this world and I am so excited to see what'll happen once I reach my full potential.

I don't know why my entire gauntlet was also covered with Haki. Maybe it's because it came from me instead of a weapon instead? Would it work on swords or other devices that come from me? I'll research that part later.

But I have to get stronger first. There is an immense amount of potential within me and with the help of the system, I want to reach the full extent of my abilities. I want to become the strongest there is and stand at the top of this world.

As soon as I thought of that, a black box appeared and my first quest was given.

Daily Quest: [Road to be the Strongest 1]

[You have untapped potential that will shake the world to its core. Complete these tasks to become stronger.]

50 Push-Ups

50 Pull-Ups

50 Sit-Ups

100 Punches

100 Kicks

100 Meter Run

[Reward: 1 Stat Point, 500 XP]

[Failure: Penalty Dungeon]

[Time: 24 Hours]

Oh? Isn't this the same for Sung Jin-Woo? But this time, my tasks are a bit smaller, and have more of them compared to him. Perhaps it's because I'm only 5 years old and my body has yet to mature enough to allow a harsher training regimen.

Well, I ain't complaining about this. If it means free stat points then I'm all for it. However, I do wonder if I'm able to go out there and explore instead of cooped up here in this small home.

Being in a new world with all kinds of different sights stirred the adventurous side within me. I want to explore, I want to run, I want to know so much about this world and run wild, free to do what I want.

But I can't take chances. I'm a 5-year-old that can't destroy a tree while the enemies here could do so. So far, I haven't seen hide or hair of anything that may look at me like prey but that will change once I do these quests.

If I want to survive in this unknown world then I need to become stronger. I can explore anytime I want, I must simply be prepared.

Alright, let's start the training montage!
