Kapitel 37: JESSICA
~~BELLA'S POV ~~
" my lovely child looks breathtaking," a man said, from his voice, he seemed elderly but I still couldn't see his face
He led me to the altar and a guy was standing at the alter
the wedding rituals began and a phone started ringing not sure if it was mine
I turned to find a worried expression on the face of a girl who seemed to be my chief bride maid
I wanted to stop the priest but she signaled me not to, instead, she walked toward me
" We don't want the bride's wedding gown to be covered with blood " I rolled my eyes and to my surprise, I seem to understand what she meant immediately.
The ritual went on and after which we were pronounced husband and wife
when the priest asked us to have a kiss I was hesitant at first until
" Bella go on " she tapped my shoulder
who are you? and what am I doing here? why can't I see your face?
all these I wanted to ask but for some reason, I couldn't speak out it was as if I was trapped in my Oblivion

" BELLA !!! " My eye suddenly flew open hearing Dianna scream my name
" what is it? and who wants to hurt you? " I asked sitting up in self-defense
" ahh thank goodness you're okay," she said and hug me
" you kept talking in your dreams and ... "
" am okay," I said and broke the hug
I touched my forehead and realized that have been sweating profusely although the AC...

" Dianna where are we? " I asked realizing we are not in a hospital or a hotel room
and remembering my actions from earlier there is no way we'll be able to afford a hotel room as I gave all our money to those goons without thinking
" you're at my house " I looked up to find a guy staring with a smile
" Dianna you never told me you had a boyfriend " I turned to find her turning into a tomato
" a.. am. "
" she's not my girlfriend we're just friends " he informed
"Ohh okay " I nodded lying back down.
"My friend also lives here but he's not always around just in case you bump into him "
" Sure you can go " I waved him off
I still feel sleepy and for some reason, I just hope I have the same dreams as earlier
~~NARRATOR'S POV ~~
" some are wise some are foolish some are just blind that they never see anything " Jessica kept reciting these lines to herself as she made her way towards her aunt's room..she is well aware of what would happen to her if her cousin finds out about her actions
although she was named after her aunt she would be lying if she said she's as courageous as her
" aunt " she called making her way into the room
" Jessy " the lady seated on the rocking chair close to the bed called as she made her way to hug her little hero
" how is she ? " she inquired
" she finally got to him safely " Jessica informed and could see her aunt sigh in relief
one thing she was curious about is the relationship between herself and Bella and why in the name of nature is she protecting her instead of helping her son.
she could still remember the happiness written all over her face the day they mistakenly got hold of Bella's pregnancy reports and how she boldly saved Bella from being killed by Clarence
although she's a cousin to Clarence she never one day support his actions especially since they were harmful to her friend
but her aunt trying to save Bella is another story altogether
" aunt what if... "
" shh he wouldn't find out and have made sure of it " she comforted
" But why did you save Bella I know... "
" you know nothing Jessy and I want it to remain like that just pretend to know nothing and I'll handle the rest," she said not giving Jessica the chance to question her anymore before making her way out of the room.
although its been many years nothing could ever make her forget the favor both mother and daughter did for her
FLASHBACK
The pattering of rain and screaming of a lady who seemed to be in pain could be heard from a distance
" Richard I think someone needs our help " Annabelle ranted in a state of panic
All she wanted was to go on a long drive but instead, they were involved in an accident and she was scared that someone is about to lose their life
" Okay but only because you're worried " Richard sighed and they both made their way toward the direction of the sound just to find a pregnant woman in labor
" quickly let's take her to the hospital," Annabelle said rushing to the side of the woman
Jessica on the other hand was on her heels away from my so-called husband but fell into labor she just prayed he wouldn't find them

" congratulations mam it's a boy " the doctor informed them before anyone could say anything Annabelle was already in the room

" hello there am Annabelle what is your name," she asked the lady
" Jessica," the lady said with a smile
" Jessica see you have a cute baby boy you know," she said placing a peck on the baby's forehead
PRESENCE
After delivering Annabelle was willing to help her out but she was scared for her safety so she ran away
after many years of slavery from her so-called husband, she was saved by a young lady which looked exactly like the woman that saved her yesterday back at first she had her doubts but after months of investigation she discovered that she wants Annabelle but Bella
the daughter of the same person who saved her and her child
" I promise one thing on my life I would rather die than let any harm come to Bella and her unborn child," she said as if taking a pledge
