Kapitel 5: I ran into some asshole named Dio, and I ended up screwing everything up.
Fuck it, I'm doing it.
I'm currently dressed in my "hero suit", which consists of the military boots I got from Dante's costume, a pair of black cargo pants, a black compression shirt, and a robe I wore to a Halloween costume party last year, of course. I also have a black mask, which covers my entire face from the nose up, it covers like Batman's.
Of course, I didn't go out on the street dressed like that, but I'm already close to my destination, so I found a discreet place and changed my clothes for this one, of course, I left the backpack with my civilian clothes close by, so when I get back, I don't have to walk in a strange outfit in the middle of the street.
And I'm on my way to a nuclear power plant, the one closest to my house, and the one on the seaside, why?
They're three teenagers, turned targets not too long ago probably, so the bombshell they have probably isn't enough to shake New York as they say, so I think more likely they're somewhere that amplifies the damage they've done. the explosion will do, and what better place than that but a nuclear power plant?
And I also believe they must have the bomb near them since they said they'll wait until sunset to activate this shit, so they're probably in a place with an easy escape route, and what place is better than the sea to do this.
So that's my bet, are they there? I don't know if they aren't, I hope someone finds them and manages to save the city, honestly I didn't want to be here... I don't think any hero likes the fact that they are having to risk their lives when they go out there, huh?
I just didn't feel right the fact that I can save the city, am I sure I will? Not, I don't know what their powers are, I don't know if my powers are enough I don't even truly know where they are.
[Author Note: Is that paragraph above confusing? I went to read it now and I didn't even understand it, but I'm too lazy to try to understand it, or change it.]
I'm only going because there's a chance I could end up getting caught in this explosion, myself and thousands of other people, and among those thousands of other people, I know that I'm probably the one with the most chance of being able to stop this.
Damn, a few days ago I made up my mind that I wasn't going to get involved in this hero-villain shit until I was strong enough, was it Static's card influencing me?

I say to myself and I start to enter the place, and immediately I start to see bodies thrown on the ground, including a police car, with several dead policemen, it doesn't hurt to take some of those pistols, right?
I quickly grabbed the pistols and put them in my pants pocket, trying to play with them in case I got out of here alive, you know the place is right here, to have so many dead bodies scattered on the floor, and not only that, there are 0 in the hands of several of these scattered bodies, others are badly deformed as if someone had bludgeoned them with a blunt weapon.
Not only that, but I can also see bullets on the ground, bullets crushed, one of them has super durability then?
And does the other's power involve numbers in any way, or did he waste time marking police bodies with the number 0?
I keep walking down the path until I get to the door, and I just push it, and it makes a fucking scary noise, and most of the lights are off, goddamn this is a horror movie, don't tell me one of these boys is a demon, this is very op for my superhero debut, adm please come here.
I keep walking and making stupid jokes in my head to try to calm myself down.
When suddenly the lights come on.

"Congratulations hero for making it this far, if you can introduce yourself to the public"
Now I see 3 teenagers, one is very fat and tall, including the one in the front, the other is back there using the computer, the one who appears to be the leader, who is talking is the one in the middle, he doesn't look like anything too much, he's not ugly or handsome, he's not skinny or fat, he's not short or tall, but he's a son of a bitch, that's what he said in the messages he sent on TV.
And the other one is sitting in the back, using a computer, but from the look on his face, he doesn't look very happy to be here.
"Apparently you don't want to answer, that's rude, but I'll think on the better side, could you just be shy, or maybe a fan of that Gotham City hero, with those all-black outfits?"

And he started laughing like an idiot, while the big guy took a step forward, I also prepared myself, and entered the Muay Thai posture, the guard that I like the most.

This bastard is still talking, fuck you man, I ran into this Brutus who was on guard, or at least trying to be.
I feinted another punch in the belly, he tried to give me a side blow to my head, but I got closer as I ducked and got up right after, with my leg kicking him in the chin, this time with all my strength, and with that blow, he goes backward.
But he soon started to get up, with his hand on his head as if he was a little dizzy.
"Shit, you almost hurt me this time, motherfucker, I'll get you"
He swore as he ran full tilt at me, and slammed his fist as hard as he could into my face again.
Well incredibly I know everything I can do against this move, apart from the fact that this guy is horrible, it's just strength, I feel like I've had several fights before, a possible effect of having assimilated Daniel Park?
Returning to the fight, when his fist was close to mine I simply dodged to the side, while pulling his arm to bring him closer, I punched him with all my strength right in his nose.
*crack*
If you're a beast then you can call me rust buddy, he flew away again, this time whimpering softly, and with his hands over his nose, and apparently, his nose was bleeding.
"Wow, congratulations, you're the first to manage to hurt Brutus, believe that even a bullet couldn't hurt this guy, and Brutus doesn't even think about wanting to leave, this fight is until one of you can't take it anymore, don't disobey me, you know the consequences
Okay, that freaks me out a bit, so besides the iron guy, or Brutus, looking like he's going to shit himself when the guy cited the consequences, there's also the fact that this Dio probably has a power that can overcome this guy's defense.
"Okay, Dio, I'm getting up"
Said the big one and started coming towards me again this time not very willingly.
I can lighten things up for this guy, right?
"Lionel"
As soon as I spoke I felt power coursing through my body, an ear growing on my head, my hair growing and starting to come out of the hood, a tail poking out, and my hand changing.
Dio looked surprised at my change, the guy at the back seemed to see a glimmer of hope, and Brutus was scared, starting to stop running toward me.
I took advantage of his moment of weakness, and ran with everything I had, as I jumped in the air, spinning, and landed a kick with my heel right on his chin, as he tried to raise his arm to defend himself, but it was too slow.
And then he just flew until he hit the wall, not stopping there, he broke and went through the wall while leaving it full of cracks, and kept going for a little while until he stopped.
Okay, so... he's not dead, is he?
"Well, you're really strong, this will be perfect, the first hero I'll defeat will be of this level, I thought you were just a weakling trying to be a hero, but it looks like you're at least decent, not that you get to my feet, now let's go it's time for you to catch up"
Dio took my attention away from Brutus and started walking a little to be relatively close to me, I still didn't attack to try to get a clue on how his power works, so we stared at each other for a few seconds, when he decided to speak again.
"So you won't attack first, that's fine, in the end, it doesn't matter, I haven't named my power yet, but it's very simple, look at your palm now"
He told me to look at the palm of my hand but I just ignored it, seems like a tactic to distract me, does he think I'm stupid?
"Since you are not going to look, I will explain to you then, I have a field, a field where I can mark anyone I see, and after that happens a mark appears on her hand, with the number 60"
After he said that I raised my hand in guard, and opened my palm, to see that there was a number there, even though it was transformed it is full of fur.
"So you decided to look, and now I can control your body from wherever it is, there's no point in running away"
Damn, what do you mean, how did we come from a guy who has metal skin to a guy with bs power.
"What do you mean by controlling my body?"
As soon as I asked him he raised his finger and turned his finger to the left side, and at the same time, I flew to the left side.

I don't think Lionel can recover from this, and I don't even want to fucking test it, I have to come up with a solution, and it has to be fast.

[Author's Note: I still don't want to involve Leo in situations that need middle-class heroes, and because he is in New York, NY doesn't have much focus on DC World, so I decided to create some villains for his debut, Brutus is pretty generic like a tank.
As for Dio, I remember that in Stray Dogs there was a villain who had a similar power, and I really liked the dynamics of that power, even though the villain only had about 2 minutes of screen time, so I decided to be inspired by him, the difference, and that stray dogs have a guy with the nullification of powers since mc doesn't have that, so he's going to fuck himself.
Mainly because this power is already a middle-class power, it's not a power that will put you at the top, but if well used it can be very op]
