It wasn't long before the sound of footsteps approached, and Song Yan thought it was a waiter coming to deliver coffee. To her surprise, it was Gu Chenxiao who arrived. Without a word, he took hold of her hand, bag and all, and whisked her away.

Song Yan was baffled, and it wasn't until they had left the café that she spoke up, "What are you doing? Where are you taking me?"

Gu Chenxiao didn't speak. He entered the elevator, then exited it, and only when he had thrown her into the car and sat down himself did he maintain his silence.

Song Yan straightened her clothes. The quiet atmosphere was tense. She coughed lightly twice to break the silence, "Weren't you supposed to have dinner with me? Instead of going to a restaurant, why have you brought me to the car?"

Song Yan's expression was pure innocence as she blinked her eyes and said, "What can we eat in the car, eat me?"
