Hisaki's announcement was met with laughter by Heisuke. He slowly walked inside the apartment, assisted by Mr. Hokama. His movement was still limited.

Hisaki hurriedly opened the windows wide for better ventilation.

Mr. Hokama led Heisuke to the living room. Mrs. Saeki followed from behind. Her expression carried traces of exhaustion with relief.

All four of them had just arrived at the airport, picked up by Kenji. The time was pointing three o'clock.

This morning, Heisuke got discharged. All four of them immediately returned to Kaagawa City in the south without any delay. They had been away from their home for quite a long time.

The Chisaka couple also went back to their new place in Nishihara City in the north. They planned to come to visit some other time. Takuya sent them all off to the airport.
