He wasn't going to let Caroline know that he had been friends with Queenie for a long while now. It just so happened that she had come over to Felicia City for a short vacation. When he found out, he merely asked her for a favor casually and she agreed to it just like that.

Caroline stared at him without blinking. After a while, she chuckled and inquired, "Are you lying?"

"Why would I lie to you?"

"Well, since you just said that it's not a big deal, I won't take it to heart then. I guess a simple thanks would suffice as repayment." 

"Wait, what? Were you planning on thanking me some other way?"

"Well, I had initially thought that if you had gone through a lot of trouble, I would cook you a meal to show you my gratitude. However, it seems that it won't be necessary."
