Caroline tensed up as she glared at Eddison.

As he kissed her again, her hands that were against his chest gripped his shirt tightly.

She blushed hard and was even cautious about her breathing.

With that, he knew when to stop. He brushed his lips across her cheeks again and planted a light kiss on her lips to comfort her emotions before backing away from her.

"If you think it's fun, then I was having fun too," he said as he caressed her cheeks gently.

She was still anxious, and she didn't quite understand his words.

It was not until he stepped back with a smile that she realized that she understood that he was referring to her prank, as well as his "punishment" for her prank.

Having known him for so long, she could tell the meaning behind his words even if he didn't make it obvious. His smirk from earlier was telling her that if she managed to pull another prank on him again, he would be "punishing" her the same way.
