Kapitel 97: Not Quite Yet

Zero could feel the sweat run down his body like a waterfall. The enemy approached them but he was having a hard time just keeping his thoughts straight. 

"What are you?" Zero asked. It was clear that something about all this bothered them and Zero planned on using that to buy them time to think of their next move.

"I am the Chosen One." They simply replied.

"But you're not a player?"

The being halted once more. "Does your hearing fail you? No. I am of this world and am the sum of all that was and that is to be. I alone have been chosen as the successor of the church. And you are trespassing."

Their eyes opened wide and suddenly a rush of hot air was released from around him toward the players. Zero tried to maintain his balance, but in his weakened state he was easily bowled over by the impact of the sudden gust. Kai fell to one knee as well as even he had his limits.

"But what is your name?!" Kai demanded.
