Kapitel 63: Ch 59 - Weakness
Somewhere inside a large pack in the middle of the night, yellow lightning suddenly blitz through the area leaving trails of yellow and gold.
A tune could be heard emanating from the front of the lightning trail that sounds similar to an archaic game from the Before Quirk of B.C century, a popular song from the hit game Sanic the Hadgehog.
"Rolling around at the speed of sound, da da da da da" sang by the voice as it spun around in arcs and waves until it came to a halt showing the figure of a person wearing a gray hoodie and black pants who was coated in sweat indicated by their damp hoodie.
'It seems my hypothesis was true, quirks are much more than simple mutation or control over the elements, its more of a phenomenon, a concept of sorts. But more test is needed and would probably take years just to unveil some of its mysteries, it seems like my stay here will be further extended than I thought. The origin of quirks is much more mysterious than I thought, and it seems to also be connected to "it"' thought by Dahsoo as yellow electricity once again cackled around him disappearing from view.
Back at his house, Dahsoo appeared naked inside his bathroom taking a nice relaxing bath while looking at his phone absentmindedly.
'I can go to fire, heat, energy, force, control over time and space, gravity, then reality. So many paths that I could take just from one simple electricity controlling quirk, but then... what is AFO? It seems to be fundamentally connected to the source of quirks itself, but quirks are somewhat already connected to each other. Hmm... enough about that, I will find those answers at a later time once I further progress my plans' thought by Dahsoo as he walk back to his room in a blitz.
"Progress on your future body?" ask by Dahsoo who was putting on some clothes.
[It would take around a month to a year if I want to make it compact and as optimize as possible and make future upgrades easier. We would probably need to make nanobots to make everything easier so I could do more of the intricate stuff that is not possible with hands] said by Ai.
"Hmm, to make nanomachines, we need a new module, a control signal and receiver specifically designed for it, make a whole new... and more. This would extend it for another month just to get all the materials needed for the nanobots and another month for your new body that would hopefully be powerful enough for at least a year and would be strong enough later for the later parts of the plan... Proceed with nanotechnology and start all the coding needed" said by Dahsoo as Ai sent a thumbs up directly to his vision as time passes along slowly with him going to sleep.
(A Few Days Later)
Above the cloudy morning sky, with civilians walking along the streets and heroes patrolling about, a park could be seen being use by many people but with its massive size, tons of space was still left.
One person wearing a grey hoodie, black pants was seen on a clearing with few people around as they look down at their hands in concentration.
'People generally train inside parks, beaches, forest, or inside facilities that are made for public usage to train their quirks or their physical body. Training inside one's own home may bring damage to people's own property so training outside is the common thing most people do, so to not arouse suspicion I need to do this to reduce the risk I may face' thought by Dahsoo as a ball of electricity above the palm of his hands and look at its cackling appearance.
'This will also shape what they will know about me, my supposed strengths and weaknesses that I want for the public to know. And its time to reveal one of my strengths' thought by Dahsoo as he watch the ball of electricity becoming unstable and creating an explosion with his expression being covered by the hoodie he wore as he face his hands downward and look down.
'And for one of my weaknesses' thought by Dahsoo as his face morphed into a nervous one and took a deep breathe.
"Explosion!" shouted by Dahsoo in a soft voice as electricity cackled around his hands creating balls of electricity that came and go in rapid succesion as they exploded with such force that made Dahsoo's figure propel upwards as people took attention of him as they heard the series of cackles and explosions that reverberated throughout the area as they look at him in wonder.
But then it stop as it came as his series of explosions stop nearly an instant after he started as he landed on the ground with shaking arms as one person rush to him.
"Are you okay?" ask by the girl that went near his kneeling body.
She was a slender teenage girl with dark brown eyes, with dark purple grey hair tied to a ponytail that reaches slightly below her neck, she appears to be a cheerful and optimistic teenage girl that aspires to be a hero, a common thing in this day and age of quirks.
She looks at Jinwoo with a worried face and manage to take a peek at his face which made her faintly blush to see how charismatic Jinwoo's face was.
"I- its okay, I'm just not use to the explosions yet" said by Dahsoo as he showed his slightly shaking arms that slowly got better.
"Are you sure?" ask by Jinah as she watch Dahsoo with worry.
"Yes, I am fine, the explosions just make my arms tremble for a few seconds" said by Dabsoo as he wiggled his arms around and massage them.
"Wait, how come your quirks make you hurt yourself, and did you said you're not use to the explosions?" ask by Jinah with a raise eyebrow.
"Oh, I forgot that what I did was not very normal, but basically to boil it down simply, my quirk isn't explosions" said by Dahsoo as he lied down on the ground to rest his body.
"Huh? That's not your quirk?" ask by the girl in wonder and confusion as she raise her eyebrows more.
"You see, my quirk allows me to control electricity" said by Dahsoo as he raise his now non shaking hands as a ball of electricity formed on top of his palms that surprise the girl.
"Then... how did you make the explosions?" ask by the girl in wonder as the people slowly lose their interest over him and looks away to do their own business.
"My quirk is basically very unstable naturally and took me years of hard work to reach the level I am at but its like pulling a trigger, I can make this ball of electricity unstable to make it go boom" said by Dahsoo as the ball visibly shrunk to reduce the power and he made it explode which took the girl a biy surprise but still gasp in admiration.
"Woah! Your control over your quirk must be very good then!" said by the girl with starry eyes.
"T- thanks, no one ever really complimented me before. Oh! I forgot to intoduce myself, my name is Kang Dahsoo by the way, nice to meet you!" said by Dahsoo.
"Oh, where is my manners, my name is Sung Jinah, an aspiring hero who wants to enter Seoul High, nice to meet you too Jinwoo!" said by Jinah as she shook hands with Jinwoo.
"Nice to meet you Jinah, but by the way, if you don't mind, but what is your quirk? Its fine if you find it uncomfortable, I was just wondering" ask by Dahsoo with a curious voice as he leaned his head to the left that just made him look cuter.
"Its fine, my quirk is that it allows me to move fast! Look!" said by Jinah as she dissapeared from view and reappeared behind him and poke his head.
"Wow! Superspeed, it should be very strong then, but does it have any weaknesses?" ask by Dahsoo as he look behind him to see Jinah.
"It's just somewhat tiring when I run for really long distances, my stamina was enhance but if I were to run for like 10 kilometers I would be on the ground breathing hard and covered in sweat" said by Jinah with a smile.
"Wow!" said by Dahsoo with sparkling eyes.
"Hehe, by the way, do you also plan to go to Seoul High, I bet you will pass the test with how strong your quirk is" said by Jinah with curiosity.
"Of course I will!" said by Dahsoo with a smile.
"Really! Then do you want to be training buddies" said by Jinah with a sheepish voice.
"Hmm... why not" said by Dahsoo with a wide smile.
"Really!" said by Jinah as she hug Dahsoo with a smile as he made a new friend in the wondrous world of heroes and villains filled with the mystical phenomenon called quirks.
AN: Guwhat!? How is the Nameless God so big brain to create explosions with electricity, I didn't even think about that.
