A/N: Sorry guys. I had to delete all of the other chapters because webnovel doesn't allow saving drafts to already published chapters, meaning if I wanted to save a draft for later, then I'd have to update the chapter and leave it half-finished.
Also, webnovel has cracked down on custom tags recently and won't allow for specific stages, such as 'Nasuverse' or 'OPMC', it won't even allow me to update the synopsis without getting rid of the old tags, so I can't make it more accurate.

"Anos. Today we will finally be buying a homunculus to be your assistant." My father told me as he led me into the hall of the mansion. My mother walked beside us calmly and happily too. She always liked going out 'as a family' like we were about to, even if it was for a business trip. This time, we were headed for an appointment with the Einzbern Family in a few hours.
"I understand, father," I replied.
This was something I had complained to my parents about for the past year and a half. I wanted an assistant to help me in my research and someone who could protect me in case things got sticky. Originally, I wanted to have Gray be my assistant since I saw how useful she was to Waver during the events of the 'Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files' anime, but my parents wouldn't let their six-year-old heir out of their sight for more than a few hours at a time. Between the fact that I was their only child and my Rainbow-ranked Mystic Eyes, there was plenty of reasons why an opportunistic magus would try to kidnap or otherwise harm me. There was no way on earth I would be able to convince them to have me take her in. Furthermore, she lived somewhere in Whales and her face wouldn't change to that of Artoria until after the events of Fate/Zero, so I couldn't search for her blindly.
So, for now, until after the next Holy Grail War, I would have to suffice with a homunculi assistant and a few familiars. My father had agreed to my reasoning and the need for my protection, so he made sure to contact the Einzbern's to purchase their latest model. We both knew, however, that they wouldn't be enough. The plan was simple, I'd get the latest model homunculus from them, I'd use my Mystic Eyes on him or her, then I could both reconstruct a new homunculus for me using one of our family's specialty Metamorphosis Magecraft.
A homunculus created by me using this method would be stronger, more mentally acute, and most importantly, if I used Spirit Magecraft to form their personality, infinitely loyal. Of course, my father didn't know this was my plan and simply wanted to get me an assistant who could help with my research. He had tried to be my assistant after I had learned everything there was to learn from him, however, he simply couldn't keep up after a while. Since his six-year-old son had effectively surpassed him, he retired from the Moonlit world, spending more and more time with my mother.
"Father, is it wise to not bring anyone for protection?" I asked.
While we did live in a rather large mansion, there was hardly anyone else there besides my mother, my father, and I. We did have a chief and a butler, however, the chief was someone mundane, who didn't know anything about the moonlit world and only worked for us during the day. Our butler was an older man who took care of the estate for us, though most of the cleaning was done with the use of enchantments or golems.
"Under normal circumstances, you'd be right in thinking that, however, the Einzberns are a family that is practically harmless. They are so obsessed with regaining their Lost Magic, that they don't even bother with other magus unless it suits them. Even though they have a high enough status that they could be considered 'unofficial lords' of the Clock Tower due to their family's history of possessing the Third Magic, they mostly keep to themselves. they are probably the only family of magus that you could reveal the existence of your mystic eyes to and they wouldn't care."
"Not that I'd let them hurt my Anos-kun though" My mother said cutely.
"I see, so as long as we are only there for business, we have nothing to fear," I asked.
I was acting as though I was a bit anxious, however, that wasn't the case at all. If it came down to it, I could eliminate the entire Einzbern family with the use of my eyes and a few basic spells empowered by Evolution Magecraft. I was just playing up the role of a six-year-old because my father seemed to like the gap-moe of his always serious and adult-like son acting his age from time to time. I did the same for mother too, however, she was easier to please, as all I had to do was give her head pats to make her happy. She is actually adorable.
"Yeah. Get in, it won't be a long road trip." My father said as he opened the door to the car.
I jumped into the back seat and made sure to properly put on my seatbelt. This car itself was a Mystic Code, imbued with the Arcana Family's Spatial Magecraft. The moment my father put on his seatbelt, he turned on the car and stepped on the gas peddle. It didn't matter that we were still inside the garage, a spatial rift opened in front of us and my father drove his car through it. A number of seconds later, we had transported ourselves from the English Countryside to the backstreets of a small German Town. Father then drove out to the street and made his way towards an old-fashioned castle in the distance.
"Alright son, you can open your eyes now." My father said.
Every time we passed through a gate like this, I had to close my eyes. If I were to accidentally unravel the mystery of the rift while we drove through it, we would be either crushed or sucked into imaginary numbers space, so my father had me close my eyes any time we used it, even though I had full control over them. I guess he was still a magus at heart and was still cautious.
"Still, I can't wait to see Irisviel again. The last time we met face-to-face was when she had just given birth to her daughter, Illya-chan." My mother started.
"I'm not so sure it was a good thing. At that time, Jubstacheit tried to get us to marry our child to Illya. He just wants access to our Spirit Magecraft as a backup for Heaven's Feel." My father said with a bit of venom in his voice.
"That's true, however, we didn't know the gender Anos-kun was going to be at the time so we were able to refuse." My mother said with a small sweat-drop on her forehead.
"Yes. Hopefully now, they will be too concerned with their ritual next year to bother trying anything funny this time. Anos' talent is still a secret. If other magus families were to learn of the power of his Mystic Eyes' to re-create copies of Magic Crests there would be chaos in the Clock Tower." My father replied.
"Indeed. Anos-kun would be forced to marry a number of different girls from noble families." My mother said casually while tapping the underside of her lip.
"W-what?" I asked a bit shocked.
"Well, the ability to copy Magic Crests would be invaluable. Having a few back-ups would become essential as a way to mitigate the risk of the Crest being lost, however, the fact that you learn all the Magecraft while copying it wouldn't be able to be kept secret. In order for them to keep their secrets, they'd either have to kill you or have you join their family." My father explained.
"Since killing you or attempting to steal your eyes would cause an uproar among the other families, only a select few extremely stupid people would attempt it, as the possibility of multiple powerful family's magecraft falling into the hands of another family or being unable to secure their own Magic Crest backup copy is unacceptable, anyone who did so would be hunted down by Policies and Enforcers." He continued.
"That's why I can expect lots of grandchildren from you, Anos-kun!" My mother said as she looked back at me from the front seat.
"Olvia, why do you keep calling Anos 'Anos-kun'" My father asked hesitantly.
"Ara! It's because that's how they do it in Japan! I was thinking of gifts to give to Illya-chan and thought back to the magical girl anime I watched while we were in Okinawa!" My mother replied as she pulled out a Sailor Moon anime tape from her bag. "I think Illya-chan will like this!" She says as I swear I can see stars exploding from around her.
I tried to ignore my mom slowly turning into an otaku in front of me as she ranted to my father, who was clearly uncomfortable, about how much fun she had when watching anime in Okinawa.
Hey guys, sorry for the shorter chapter. I was watching Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files all day to increase my knowledge on magecraft and didn't really have all that much time to write, furthermore, I'm going to work tomorrow early, so I have to go to bed early too.
The next chapter will be the MC meeting Illya and maybe a few other people
