Kapitel 220: Unhealthy Feelings

That was the first thing George said when the door to their room closed after both of them went inside.

She gave him a flat look that seemed to be even colder because of the dim light in the room, "I think it's healthy for couples to spend some time apart, don't you think so too?"

The look on Geroge's face only confirmed what Cynthia knew all too well, he didn't think so at all.

"Don't do this, please," he begged.

"...Why not?

"Because it makes me anxious,"

She felt her cheeks heating with some bottled-up anger that came out of nowhere in particular, "We always do things your way, can't we do things my way this time around?"
