Cynthia was followed by two of the Robinsons' men in black and was supported by her father in law in order to be able to continue walking.

The woman who had just given birth to a baby that was taken away from her roamed the entire floor going from room to room and checking one baby after the other as if she was possessed. She kept on looking at the bracelets around their little hands or their little ankles, and each time she met with a baby that wasn't hers, her tears would overflow. 

Never in her life had she cried so much, though her life has been in no way easy.
