Falsum Verum

My father was a German scientist in WW2, he got in a year long relationship with my French mother and left us after he brought us back with him in Germany shortly after i was born.
Years later, I found out that he gave my mother a letter to only give me when i turned 16, the letter included a location, and the location could be the reason he left us.
