"Thank you," said a youngster with an unusually innocent face. He pulled back his arm that was broken a few moments ago and made circles with his shoulder. After finding no pain, discomfort, or sequelae, he grinned happily.

Megan gave him a calm smile and a nod in return before turning around to look at the battlefield with hungry eyes. She had been stuck in the medical bay for the whole week, healing the injured. She would much rather be out there, where the action was, but she understood her duty and where she provided the most benefit.

A cold hand gently rested on the top of hers, pulling her from her reverie. She turned to the short, pink-headed old lady with a calm smile on her face. "You know, things are slowing down here. You can go and have some fun if you...." before Porshe could finish her statement, Megan's afterimage was already fading away with the wind."...want." The words left her mouth only out of habit, as there was no one left to hear them.
