Kapitel 156: My Mission

Jace's POV

I get back to my place with a broken soul; I wish to be there for her the moment she wakes up, but Thomas White made it clear I can't be with her. I lay on my bed wide awake, and no matter how I wish to go to sleep, I can't because my mind is preoccupied with Miracle's thoughts. How can I be with her again? Her father warned me not to communicate with her, or show myself in front of her for two years. That is too much to bear, but at least I can see her from a distance.

I was just surprised by the successive ringing of my phone, and I realized I fall asleep still wearing my clothes from the other night, I meant not to take off my clothes because Mira's fragrant sticks to it, and I want to smell her and imagine I was sleeping beside her. My phone is still buzzing, and I don't have a choice, but to pick it up from my nightstand. I didn't drink alcohol last night, but it feels like I am having a hangover. I have a severe headache, and my throat is so dry.
