Kapitel 77: Jason's grace

Colourful flowers bloomed in a huge garden. The Beez hover over them collecting the nectar. Water burbled from the fountain built at the centre of the garden. The atmosphere was cheerful around the Manor. 

In a dimly lit room, a woman sat on the couch. The windows were covered with thick curtains, not allowing a single ray of light to enter the room. In front of the woman was a small centre table on which a few glass bottles containing alcohol were placed. Few were empty and few were about to get emptied by her. 

Her eyes were bloodshot red and her face was puffy. Closing her eyes, she emptied the glass in a single gulp. Her face scrunched due to the bitter taste of strong alcohol. She let out the air through her lips in exhaustion and slowly opened her eyes revealing the two envious eyes.
