Kapitel 69: 69. Heartless

Cressida opened her eyes slowly. What she first saw was a dim light illuminating from the lantern hung above her. She fully opened her eyes and looked at the roof above her. When her sight and mind was stable, she looked around to inspect the surrounding. She was on a wooden bench in a small room. She abruptly stood in a sitting position. There were glass bottles, some herbs, and many books placed on the shelf as well on the table in front of her. She hung her legs down the bench to stand on her feet. The sudden moment caused dizziness in her head. She held her head with the palm of her right hand. She then noticed a cloth that was tied around her head. She touched the cloth and knitted her brows. She couldn't remember what happened to her. She tried to focus on the incident that resulted her on the bed. Her head hurts the more she tried to remember.
