The warm current turned violent! the moment it did so, I felt immense pain! Indescribable pain! Enough to turn any sane person insane! And I passed out...

While Lucas was passed out in a Seiza position, Tremendous changes were taking place in his body. Purpuleish dark mist started oozing from every pore of his body. Nose, Eyes, Ears, even his butthole wasn't spared!
The seal in his body slowly but surely was being removed. And when the seal finally broke with the help of the energy from the fruit... another change started taking place.
His skin, which was already dark, became darker. His eyes which could barely be seen through the dark mist turned pitch black. Even his nails turned black and started growing. Two horns, as majestic as a crown, started protruding from his forehead. Two more protrusions from his back tore through his clothes and came out in the form of two bat wings.
Lucas's face which looked like a ghoul turned back into a normal one. It no longer looked like Lucas had exerted himself in any manner for the last two and a half days or was malnourished in any way.

It felt as though an eternity as though my consciousness had exited my body...
When I came back to it, I felt my head getting heavier. There was also another weight on my back. But more importantly, I felt a throbbing headache on my brain, as if a new part of it had just grown forcefully and pushed other parts of my brain out of its way. There was also this impulse... an impulse to just move something.
I wasn't fully conscious and that impulse kept tugging me like a child. So I went along with the impulse.
The next moment I felt ad though my body was moving at tremendous speeds. The sudden movement of my body made me snap to full consciousness and when I did, I realized that I was almost at the peak of the mountain towards the hole through which I had fallen into the underground cavern.
I was quite confused about the situation so I tried to stop. And would you look at that! The next moment I stopped just above the hole in mid-air. I, who was still confused, tried to look behind me and what I saw made my mouth twitch but, it also made me realize something...
'I guess this world hasn't screwed enough with me yet. Huh?!'
My main problem with the situation wasn't the fact that I wasn't human. I had already guessed this much when I had seen the (sealed) in my status panel. Heck even if I was a 'Chaos Human', I would have tried to change my race because I knew that Earthlings as a race were very weak compared to other races which had at least one 5-star power-house to protect them. What about Earthlings? There was only the main character that I created no other special power-house. Still...
"Why? Why a demon?! Even a Fu*king Orc would be better!!"
*Sigh*
I sighed out of annoyance at how bad my luck was and how this whole world was fu*king.
'At least the things aren't at the worst...'
*Sigh*
I sighed again and calmed my inner anger.
'Calm Down! Calm Down! I'm not at the end of my rope, I can just hide my identity as a demon and with the 'freedom fruit' I just ate, no one will be able to detect that I am a demon.'
"Hooh! Hooh!"

At this point, I was 100%!!! 100% certain that this world had nothing but pure malice against me!
Every fu*king time! I thought I was walking one step closer to my goal, The whole world would just pull me back a hundred more steps! The Fu*k was wrong with this world!
"Da*m world!!! I was the one that created you!!! I was!! Even a Fu*king Prostitute would be more loyal towards a customer than this world was towards me!"
Being a demon was a pain in the ass but not something that couldn't be handled with a proper disguise. Besides, being a demon would allow me to shift sides towards Demon camp at any moment I desired. But No! This fu*king world had to make me a descendent of one of the 72 noble demons and Dantalion's to boot.
In my Novel 'From Zero to Hero', The demons would have played the role of the Universal Enemy. Every race would have frowned upon the name of the Demons and tried to eradicate them if possible. If my novel was a typical cliche one that is!
I attempted to try and make this universally misused race a bit more interesting. I even read through various articles on various social media like 'Fa*ebook' in order to enrich my knowledge about demons. So what did I come with? I came up with 'Something'. Something that could fill about a few chapters of my novel.
Any way the lore started like this,
The First demon, the being born of dark matter, after its death, Left 72 different parts of itself. These 72 different parts later gained their own consciousness and took 72 different forms and were called the 72 demon kings, each of whom were immensely strong in their own right. But these 72 beings like their predecessor weren't eternal and thus to continue their lineage, created lesser beings who would mate with them called 'demons'. After their deaths, the one who was deemed to be the fittest for the position was chosen among the descendants through various trials which gave birth to the demons being divided into 72 families. Each family member had at least a faint amount of the original demon's blood in them.
The status quo remained the same for Eons to come until one day a certain demon found out that they weren't the only beings in the world. Curious, they tried to breed with these new beings but the results weren't good 9 out of 10 times. They gave birth to various hideous-looking creatures who had varieties of features.
Surprisingly these creatures couldn't get strong like the demons from 72 families and were surviving just based on instinct. Disappointed they discarded all of these hideous creatures on a single planet and went on with their everyday life which was a grave mistake since when they came back to the planet to check, they found only 7 demons were left and each of them was quite unique.
It turned out that these deformed creatures grow stronger by eating other beings but will get affected by the emotions of the one they consumed to some point. So, at last, these seven demons were the only demons that lived the planet-wide massacre. Each of these demons was individually tainted by a certain sinful desire along with the desire to grow strong.
So these demons envious of the power that the 72 families held, started to breed with the noble blooded demons and other races which gave birth to the unending legion of the demons with many varieties of them like Imp, Succubi, Incubi, Horned Demon Etc.
The demons were still in harmony at this point with some infighting between the families but nothing too serious. Until the result of a demon from the 72 families now called the Noble demon with a sin-demon, descendent of the 7 sin-demons, gave birth to an unstable being which held an immense amount of power yet was very unstable emotionally. This being caused large damage not only to the enemies but also to the demons themselves which led the demons to take drastic actions and Kill this being during which 8 family heads died by the hand of the demon and 9 more perished with the demon.
These kinds of demons were later called 'Children of Taboo' and any attempt of noble and sin-demon breeding were put to a permanent stop! Or so all demons thought. Until the current demon lord popped out of nowhere and united all the demons under a single banner.
Born from a Pride sin-demon and a Bael noble demon, The current Demon king is a Child of Taboo and to top it off, is currently the strongest being in this whole entire Universe!!!
