6. Girlfriend
Shuu found himself on the building's rooftop. watching the evening orange sky; sometimes he also heard voices from the sports club. It was very calming especially after the storm he created.
Then, before long, Shuu felt a presence approaching him. As he was familiar with the presence, he didn't bother to turn around.
"What~ are you doing~~?" Someone tapped on his shoulder and pointed at her finger, waiting for Shuu to turn around. But because Shuu didn't react to that, she just pushed her finger on his cheek.
She pouted and said, "You're no fun."
"Waiting for Shinomiya, Ai?" Shuu asked, still enjoying the evening sky.
Hayasaka Ai dropped her act? "
Un." She nodded. "So, what are you doing here, moping around?"
"Moping? Me? Are you alright in the head?" Shuu snarled back but wasn't effective against Ai.
"Alright, Alright. enough of that. I could see through you from miles away. So what did you do this time? Did you make another girl cry again?"
Shuu turned to her and pouted before he replied, "You're no fun." As long as you're handsome, even if you act girly or creepily, it's still acceptable by society.
"Don't copy me," Ai says, throwing a quick jab at his side. but was caught by Shuu.
"Hey, you put some of your strength there," Shuu complained.
"I know you'll catch it anyway, so what's the problem?"
"There's nothing but a problem! I'll sue you for assault."
"Hee~" Ai smirked at him and said, "I like to see you try. Don't you know I had someone on my back on the justice side?" She threatened him.
"Hoo~ It should be my line. Do you think your influence is better than my influence?" Shuu smiled evilly.
"Ugh," Ai groaned, taking a step back.
"With just one word for me, I could make everyone from your side unable to live in the country anymore. Do you understand!?" Shuu took a step toward her. "Your backer's messenger would be filled with dismissal by next morning, and they'd be forced to leave the city. And those disasters would be caused by you alone, Ai."
"Kuhh! Anything but that! please!!" Ai shouted in despair like a cornered, scared small animal.
"Then you know what to do, right?" Shuu smiled shamelessly, his eyes were as if he were licking all over her body.
"Kuhh! I understand, I'll do anything." Ai started to unbutton her uniform from the top, and when it was enough, she slid her uniform to the side. or what would happen if Shuu didn't interfere.
He quickly pulled up her uniform and closed the front too. While also scanning the surroundings to see if anybody was peeking or taking a glance.
"Okay! okay! It's your win! So stop that! This shameless girl!"
"Hehe," Ai giggled before smugly smiling at Shuu. Then she turned around to fix her uniform while calming her red and hot face.
"If you dare, then try to do that again when we're in the room," Ai overheard Shuu muttering in a small voice.
(Hehe) She secretly giggled and couldn't help but let out a smile. It took her a few more seconds than usual to calm down.
After she calmed down, she turned back to Shuu and asked, "So, do you feel better now? ready to tell me what happened?"
"Haa~" Shuu sighed. "It would be impossible not to feel better after that," Shuu replied before he started to explain what happened in the student council's room.

"I see, So you just throw everything in the mess you made to Kaguya-sama to take care of," Ai said after hearing Shuu's story.
"Ugh," Shuu's conscience quickly felt guilty. "I'll treat her or buy her a present next time."
"You better be," Ai continued, "or it would be me who had to hear all her complaining all day long."
They both watched the sunset together on the rooftop. They felt comfortable and healed by each other's presence. Ai hoped it would last forever, but reality was never a kind place.

Shuu's smartphone rang, breaking the amicable feeling between the two. Without waiting any longer, Shuu took out his smartphone and saw who was calling him.
'Ai #2' was shown on the screen.
Ai took a peek at it and almost wanted to laugh when she saw that name. However, a few seconds later, it soured her mood. "Who is it?" she asked, acting like she didn't see it.
"My girlfriend," Shuu replied the same words as Hayasaka Ai had already expected him to say.

"President! Did you finally buy a smartphone?" As always, Chika's voice caught the student council's members' attention. Following Chika, Shuu stared at the smartphone in Miyuki's hand. "Welcome to Modern Civilization." And as always, her words could easily rend someone's heart.
"Please don't talk to people like they're some sort of primitive being," Miyuki replied, before his mood recovered. "I even have the LINE application," Miyuki said somehow with a smug face.
"Wow! then let's exchange LINE ID." Chika quickly set up her smartphone to add Miyuki's ID. Shuu also came toward them to exchange IDs.
Miyuki finally realized how essential a smartphone is for high school life. It wouldn't be too far to say that the half-year was wasted because he didn't have a smartphone.
In this day and age, the ritual of exchanging contact information is an act of love!!
(Now! Ask for my ID, Shinomiya!!) Miyuki started to get hyped up by his own thoughts.
Yet, different from what he expected, Kaguya only sat still on the couch, calmly drinking her tea.
…
Moments passed by, and there was still no movement from Kaguya.
(Why aren't you asking?! It's my personal information! It should be worth something to you.) Miyuki shouted in his heart. (If it means nothing to her. Maybe I should ask for her…?)
When Miyuki started to think like that, he suddenly remembered.
Ask for Contact Information -> Admit feelings -> Everyone knows -> DEATH!
(I absolutely cannot be the one who asks her.)
Meanwhile, Kaguya kept her face calm all the time. On the inside, it was full of condescending feelings (I won't ask you no matter what! Just how far do you think I went just to convince you to buy a smartphone)
(I wonder what kind of face you make when you ask for my contact information. I can't wait to see it)
Even after a few more moments had passed, Kaguya still didn't show any interest in Miyuki's contact information. Miyuki was finally fed up with waiting. (If that's how you're going to play, I also had a card on my side) Miyuki thought.
"Oh! President, that photo on your profile picture." Chika quickly realized the trap Miyuki had set up. or more like Miyuki deliberately made Chika realize it so he could use her to trap Kaguya.
"Yes, it's a photo of me as a child." Miyuki played it cool.
"So cute!" Chika smiled flowerily. "You've even had that glare since you were a kid."
Little by little, Kaguya was unable to hold her curiosity, hook, line, and sinker. To add the finishing blow, Miyuki made the statement, "But this is a little embarrassing. I should change it to another picture. I'll change it in three minutes."
"!!!" Kaguya was startled. (He put a time limit! that coward…!) Kaguya spun her brain to its utmost limit to find a way to see that profile picture without asking for his contact information.
Then Kaguya realized that other than Chika and Miyuki, There's another person who could see that profile picture. Kaguya took one moment to glance at Shuu before she quickly dropped that idea. It would be harder to see it from him than from Miyuki himself.
Yet before Kaguya was able to find another way.
*Thud
That voice reverberated in the room and caught everyone's attention. It was Shuu who dropped his smartphone on the floor. With the screen still on and Miyuki's profile picture for the world to see.
(I'm sorry, president! Only this time! I still owe her for the last mess I made) Shuu thought. After he made sure Kaguya stored that picture in her photographic memory, Shuu finally picked up his smartphone before he acted like Chika, who was oblivious to everything. Of course, Shuu also had to endure Miyuki's dagger-like glare.
"By the way, Shinomiya-san," Shuu called.
"Yes, Katsuragi-san?" Shinomiya replied with a full-blooming smile. She never expected Shuu to help her.
"When will you change your old phone? Your old model phone didn't support LINE." Shuu's word was like a nuclear bomb to Kaguya and Miyuki. "Ahh! That's right, Kaguya-san has a flip phone, so she can't use LINE." Chika also quickly realized it.
""It can't!?"" Miyuki and Kagura shouted simultaneously.
"You're rich! Just buy a new one!" Miyuki snapped.
"I've had this phone since kindergarten, I can't just replace it so easily!!" Kaguya snapped back.
Result of today's battle: Kaguya and Miyuki's mutual defeat. Then, (Due to having a debt to Kaguya and having to help her) Shuu's defeat.
