Kapitel 27: The Mysterious Hole
Evan's eyes widened when he heard the name of the newly acquired feature.
'What the hell is this feature?! Am I now officially a Tyrant after scaring Lamia Lady? Still it doesn't make sense...!!'
Evan disagreed that he should be the king of the Tyrannical dominion... The government was known as a type of lousy sovereignty.
This type of dominion was concentrated on one hand, where there was no distribution of popular sovereignty and was often cruel.
Of course, Evan wouldn't claim it as a lousy feature until he understands the purpose and function of Tyrannical Home.
Before that curiosity interfered with his goal of completing the quest, he immediately confirmed it. He looked for the feature in his vision.
There weren't too many tabs in his vision, so he could find Tyrannical Home tabs quickly. Inside that tab, there was only a list with two registered names. The first was Evan Hayes as King, and below was Liselis as a Subordinate.
The only thing Evan could think of that feature was the inescapable nature of the Tyrannical Ruler, cruel and selfish. He wasn't sure his guess was correct because there was no explanation or information written on the tab. However, there was no harm if he tested it directly on his subordinates who had been registered on the Tyrannical Home list.
When Evan got out of the train of thought on the Tyrannical Home Features function. He was startled by the purple eyes and vertical slit pupils who stared at him happily, just like Lucia when she met him for the first time.
"...Huff, this is the second time a girl is looking at me like she's looking at a cute doll. Can you stop that annoying stare?!"
Evan, who never got the attention of the people around him in his previous life, felt a little disturbed by that loving gaze.
"No...that's not true, My King... Instead you look very dignified and cruel."
Evan didn't know if it was a compliment or a mockery, but it was better than Lucia's asking him to growl.
"Ehem, Liselis... Because of your desire to become my subordinate, there is something I want to confirm before I decide."
Evan didn't want to tell Liselis that she had become his subordinate because he wished to implicitly confirm the Tyrannical Home Features functionality.
"S-sure, whatever it is." Liselis nodded happily.
In him's mind, there were two things he wanted to make sure, he could command his subordinates by force or the subordinates who couldn't criticize or attack him.
"Liselis... Spin!"
She thought for a moment to process the instructions from Evan, which she had never heard before. After understanding it, she was immediately slithering to form a circle. "Is this correct?"
Not so sure about that, he continued with the command to sit, lie down, pick up objects and high five. 'Hmm, she can do everything well. Maybe because the command was too easy.'
Feeling that the commands given did not give any clues, he thought to be a little cruel.
With a cold voice, he gave the following command. "Liselis, Die!"
"Uhh... Sorry?" Liselis scratched her head because she didn't know what kind of move she should make for that command.
To Evan's surprise, that feature couldn't forcefully rule like a Tyrant. Meaning, he only has one last guess. If this still didn't work, he would stop figuring out the function of that feature and focus on completing the quest.
"Liselis... Attack me!"
"Why all of a sudden like this? I don't want to do it!" Liselis refused to execute a command that went against her goal of being Evan's subordinate.
"This isn't a trap! Hurry up or I'll use my eye skill again."
"O-okay. Don't kill me if I hit you." Not wanting to feel that terrible fear again, Liselis was forced to follow Evan's words.
The moment she moved and attacked him. An unknown force stopped her in her tracks. She was completely paralyzed.
"M-my King... What happened to me? Does this mean you're refusing me to be your subordinate? Huhu..." Liselis almost cried because she thought Evan would throw her off by paralyzing her.
Evan's eyes opened wide while his mouth fell open in shock at what had happened to Liselis. Without using the slightest strength, he stopped Liselis attack.
"Release! Don't worry, these are also things I want to confirm. Now you can move normally again." Evan actually only spoke randomly, but apparently, his words managed to release the restraints on Liselis.
"What magic did you use just now?" Liselis tried to move her whole body, confirming Evan's words.
"It was just a small trick. Are you surprised?"
"Yeah... That's really cool! I'm getting more and more hopeful that you will accept the Lamia Race as your subordinate."
"Then hurry up and find 100 Mobs Class Creatures!"
"Uuu... Actually I've found them near here. But I forgot to ask, do you want to eat them or do you want to test your strength?"
"I just want to kill them. Prioritize the group, so I can kill 100 Mobs quickly." Evan wanted to quickly finish his quest for fear that this dense forest would be filled with wild creatures looking for food hen night fell.
Liselis nodded and helped Evan to climb on her head again. This time she was no longer nervous and could be slithering normally.
Liselis stopped at a hole that was quite large and deep.
"This is the place..."
"...This cave looks gloomy. What kind of creature is inside?"
Only outside the cave, Evan could already hear strange and terrible sounds from inside the cave. The horror increased when he saw the dark and gloomy atmosphere because some parts did not receive sunlight.
He was sure it didn't contain the 100 Mobs Class Creatures he wanted. Maybe, monsters of Lamia Lord class or higher might be waiting for him inside.
"This is The Mysterious Hole. A hole that no one has ever been in because it is inhabited by wild creatures."
"Are you sure there's a Mob Class Creature in there?"
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure. With my sense of smell I'm sure there are thousands of Mob Class Creatures in there."
