Kapitel 12: Strengthening the bonds
It feels so good to take her hand, I never in my life thought I could take a girl's hand at all.
("He seems a little nervous, did I do something wrong? I do not think so, let us keep walking to his house. I can not wait to meet his mother if she's there.")
When we arrived, I opened the front door and went inside. My mother was very surprised, if I were her I would be too.
"Hello miss, my name is Miko, I am happy to meet you."

When we were ready to start the game, mom interrupted us and gave us the cookies with the orange juice and of course she made a comment.

"Please go outside or I'll make sure Miko leaves the house."

"Your mom is funny, I wish I had a mom like yours."
"She is, but sometimes she needs to read the mood!" I exclaimed.
"Did you say something Shinji?" My mother replied from the living room.
"Nothing, Mom, you can go on with what you are doing right now."
"My parents are a bit strict, but our relationships are fine."
"Well, Yuuki seems to be too cheerful, so I would be surprised if your relationship was not good."
"Yeah, Yuuki has always been like that. He always wants to be happy and spread his happiness to others."
"That sounds like Yuuki."

I picked up the controller and with professional movements managed to dodge the forest ahead.
But the car had run out of gas, so we had to walk to the town ahead.
I had closed the lights in my room and now the atmosphere was even creepier. After all, we had been playing a horror game.
When we were almost out of the forest, the main monster of the game appeared and killed us both before I could even react. Apparently, we were out of luck this time. The monster was wearing a devil mask and the back of its head was open so that its brain was visible. It had a hole in its stomach and was holding a chainsaw.
The monster did a jumpscare and the kill animation on us. I had seen this jumpscare many times before, so I didn't even flinch.
Miko on the other side literally jumped up in fear and hugged me with all her might.
In moments like this, I can not help but think if my luck sometimes exceeds the limits of human luck.
I could not resist my urge and patted her on the head to calm her down. It was truly one of the most beautiful moments in my entire life. She was acting so sweet. I could not help but pet her head for as long as I could.
But you know how every time something especially nice happens, something comes along to ruin it.
At that moment, my mother entered my room.
"Oh dear, what are you two doing here?"
In the blink of an eye, Miko and I separated from each other.
"*Ahem* nothing. Everything's just fine. And what do you want?"
"Oh, sorry if I interrupted you on something, but there's a boy named Yuuki outside the door who wants to take Miko home."
"Huh? What's Yuuki doing here? And most importantly, how did he find my house?"
"Ah, I left a note on the roof of the school telling him to pick me up when it's time for me to go home." said Miko as she put on her coat.
"Oh, I see. Well, I'll see you at school tomorrow then.
"Yes, I see you in the competition. I believe in you, you can do it."
"Thank you. I'll do my best."
"Well, then it's time for me to go. Take care." she said and gave me a quick kiss.
"A-ah yes, you too." I said and waved to her as she and Yuuki walked away from my house.
"Oh, what a nice girl. She even gave my son a goodnight kiss. I am going to prepare the marriage papers."
"Mom, please stop. Do not talk nonsense."
"Humph, you have no sense of humor."
"Yes, yes, whatever you say. I am going to my room to get ready for tomorrow."
"All right, but do not stay up all night."
"I was not planning on it," I said and went to my room.
I have to say I was pretty excited about this kiss. It was my first kiss with a girl. I can not get that out of my mind.
"Stop. Thinking. About. It." I said as I hit my head with my hand.
Anyway, it's time to get ready for tomorrow. I am certainly not going to disappoint Miko and win the competition. She looked pretty excited for the trip to the beach.
Wait a minute. Wait a minute. We will go to the beach if I win. That means we will be out in our swimsuit. So I am going to see Miko in her swimsuit
Just thinking about it made my whole face turn red.
I do not think my emotional integrity is ready for that kind of experience.
But I will do my best to win for the sake of my school and my friends. And definitely not for the sake of the beach trip.
Well, then, I am going to get ready. By sleeping.
Either way, there's nothing else I can do to prepare. I already have the maximum amount of knowledge I could possibly have. So there is nothing for me to be afraid of.
I will accomplish my mission for the good of Miko. AND FOR THE SCHOOL . Especially for Miko. BUT ALSO FOR MY FRIENDS
